Jim Cramer. Rush Limbaugh. Rick Santelli.
What do they all have in common? Most likely, none of them is getting invited to the White House Christmas party.
All three media personalities have been singled out by President Obama's press shop in the course of less than two weeks. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, in doing so, has shown an unusual willingness to spar with cable and radio hosts who take shots at his boss.
The rebuttals have ranged from playful ribbing to disdainful scolding.
Talk show host Limbaugh has drawn the most ire from the White House. Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel called him out on Sunday for saying he wants Obama to fail, after Obama told Republican lawmakers not to listen to people like Limbaugh several weeks ago.
Gibbs followed up Monday, calling on conservative pundits to challenge Limbaugh on air.

So if 50 million of us are pissed off at “The One” and say things about him, is Gibbs going to publicly call us out?
He He HE!!!!!
How very school yard-esque. You’d think they could find topics of substance to offer the American people instead of crying over what he said, or she said, or they said.... Waaaah...
My son is 6 years old and he comes home telling me what his schoolmates said or did and whining about who was or wasn’t his friend today.
I see similarities with the playground and the WH press secty..
Scary!
I’m not fan of Gibbs nor Obama.
But I’m not totally opposed to the tactic.
For eight years, the Bush White House sat back and took their whacks from the drive-by media without saying much in return.
Now there’s certainly something to be said for the old cliche of “taking it like a man” but at the same time, maybe it wouldn’t have hurt if the Bush White House went on the offensive every now and then against their opponent.
Hell, for that matter, it wouldn’t hurt if the entire GOP started acting like that instead of sitting back and allowing your media opponents to take free shots at you.
RAHMIAVELLI
“Beltway Bob”. “Baghdad Bob”. It fits!
When do the crucifictions begin Hussein?
Orwell is spinning in his grave, along with Nixon.
Enemies list anyone? Where is Jane Fonda when you need her?
Gladiator is still one of my favorite movies.
Now I know why.
If Obama has nothing better to do than take on Rush, Santelli, and Cramer it means the economy is fixed, terrorist have backed down, and rouge states like North Korea have given up.
What else could it be ?

LOL - perfect.
“Christmas Party......Christmas Party!!!!!! Hell no with this Chi. town bunch of thugs, they’ll be having a KWANZA party.
What does the resume for Mr. Gibbs look like?
Did you go to charm school-lite?
Jake Tapper’s still getting tetanus shots from taking bites out of Gibbs’ protuberant butt. It’s sort of like that fat drunk guy at a bar challenging a table full of Marines to a fist fight. Just don’t is my advice.
They are all master debaters you know?
Ramadan.
Christmas is not celebrated in the White Mosque.
I could not resist! If I had photoshop at work I would have photoshopped Gibb’s head on Bob...hahaha ;)
“Gibbs (like his Boss) is just a thin skinned little prick.”
Ouch...that sure sounds painful!
Another way of putting it is: the ratings sharks smell blood in the water. As each takes a bite, there is more blood in the water. The feeding frenzy is about to begin.
I would not be surprised to see Gibbs or Obama having a psychotic episode on TV before long.
Why not attack talk show hosts? The Republicans in Congress are too impotent to make worthy opponents.
