But here is where Brownback in particular made a common pro-life politician's mistake, which too many pro-lifers accept: Casting dreams for what he could do for us tomorrow, Brownback didn't do the right thing today.

I don't care what pro-life politicians promise they will do for me tomorrow. Tomorrow never comes. I only care what they do for me today. In fact, they're only where they are today because they cast dreams in a previous campaign to do something for me today.

No matter what the reason was, Brownback SHOULD NOT have endorsed an abortionist.

But but but but but — Sibelius is pro life at the personal level - (St. Cuomo doctrine)

That’s how these blowhards fake their support for infanticide.

Brownback is wobbly on a number of issues, but I thought he was staunch on at least one issue, pro-life.

This is extremely disappointing. Sebelius is absolutely NOTORIOUS as an extreme abortionist, a pal of Killer Tiller. And this is a sensitive position. She will turn the Department of Health into Planned Parenthood. Forget cancer, forget epidemic preparations, forget medical research. It will be all abortion and all fetal stem-cell research all the time.

This is really unforgiveable.

Sam Brownback is a fraud. All that talk about life, and CONSERVATIVE PRINCIPLES? Sticking by your guns? All lies. I almost voted for you for President you jerk!

I mean lets be clear, Brownback isn't just supporting a woman's choice, pro-choice candidate.

He is praising AN ABORTION EXTREMIST. Sam Brownback is what's wrong with the GOP. They're just like us. Believe what we believe. Until it's time to vote.

I can’t tell you how disappointed I am in these two before thought by me to be very fine men. Now perhaps you can see what being Republican is like here in Kansas. Not very conservative. Sebelius was elected because the R candidate was deemed too “conservative”

I frankly don’t care.

Obama was going to pick an abortionist anyway....anybody who thought he would pick a pro-lifer is stupid, and anyone who thinks a pro-life outcry would keep Sebelius from being confirmed is too dumb to breathe.

She’s it. I am glad to get her out of Kansas even though I am not living there anymore.

Brownback could do some good as governor.
