Now that’s good!

“Live Free Or Punt.”

I’m going to steal that for my tagline.

There aren’t any copyright issues are there?

Do not be discouraged as there are bound to be setbacks. We are quickly nearing the final stages of a democracy however together we can break the cycle of democracies because we are a republic ladies and gentlemen. I say let us end this cycle here at apathy and proceed back to spiritual faith and on to great courage.

Tytler’s nation sequence:

• From bondage to spiritual faith;
• From spiritual faith to great courage;
• From courage to liberty;
• From liberty to abundance;
• From abundance to complacency;
• From complacency to apathy;
• From apathy to dependence;
• From dependence back into bondage.

Attend a Tea Party in your location to energize spirit. Write, call and fax your state and local representatives and demand they reign in the less than 600 federal tyrants destroying America.

Invite liberal democrats to join you for we’re all in this together and liberals do not equate to socialist.

The framers of the constitution left us with means of last resort to regain control of our country as citizens. It is a constitutional convention called by the many states for the purpose of adding amendments to our constitution. Around the beginning of the last century, a number of mistakes were made in adding amendments. One in particular, among others, was the addition of the 16th amendment which gave the feds the power of taxing an individual’s income. This action helped birth the federal monster increasingly encroaching upon our lives today.

We are a majority of “red” states and most individuals have not fallen into the dependency trap. Therefore we must fix the problem while we still can.

" If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves. " - Churchill

On the steps of the Capital, to explain??? ...Well, if you don’t want to confront the people on the steps of our Capital, better take the back door out, and don’t come back...

I agree with 1 and 2, but before we try 3, might I suggest putting our heads together to figure out how to assert our own State Citizenship?

Contrary to popular belief due to government schools, there is a difference between Citizens of the American States and federal 'US' citizens.

Why should the States stand up for everyone when the populace, in their honest-but-still-unaware ignorance, all claim to be federal citizens?

§ 1218. The inhabitants enjoy all their civil, religious, and political rights. They live substantially under the same laws, as at the time of the cession, such changes only having been made, as have been devised, and sought by themselves. They are not indeed citizens of any state, entitled to the privileges of such; but they are citizens of the United States. They have no immediate representatives in congress.
Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution

"It is quite clear, then, that there is a citizenship of the United States and a citizenship of a state, which are distinct from each other and which depend upon different characteristics of the individual."
The Slaughter-House Cases: 83 U.S. 36, 74.

Accepting the stimulus money will cause NH to require raising taxes on businesses. For example, businesses will have to pay for COBRA payments for laid off workers.

Get as many sharp edged facts as you can muster that are consequences of allowing a Fed takeover of State jurisdiction, then go to as many business association meetings that you can get to, and spread the news.

Try and do your politicking at the County level. There are ten counties in NH. Figure how many you need to turn the State around.

I wish NH would go to Canada!

There's just something cancerous about that NE corner of the country that seems to turn otherwise sensible people into something other than practicing Americans. If we could find the source, maybe it could be removed to save the patient, who presently happens to be on life support.

NH caught a bad case of Liberalism/Socialism/Communism from its neighbor immediately to the South, Kerry-Kennedyland.

Agreed - I just don’t know how we can get there absent the support of a number of states representing a significant population. Even then, we need to face up to the reality that there really are “Two Americas”, just not the ones John Edwards was talking about. One America wants to be self-governing and independent, the other collectivist and dependent. In that respect, I fear we are reaching a point of departure.

Contact me, Andy...a better resolution must be hammered out, and that only starts with people like you and me arguing about it.

One of the “challenges” I see us facing if the States Rights movement is to actually move ahead is that we get bogged down in the left’s web of lawyerizing everything. That is their game AND their playing field. We should avoid it like the cancer it has become. I believer our Constitution was written in such a form as to be interpreted AND understood by us commoners. We don't NEED $500/hr attorneys to decipher the hidden meanings, finer points, and nuances of the document. It's in plain English, which I'm sure has thwarted many a ne'er-do-well over its lifetime. I'm sure it keeps our would-be masters awake nights as they toss and turn in their agony at the mere existence of it.

It is again(or still) under an orchestrated and possibly unprecendented attack by our would-be masters, the efforts of FDR notwithstanding. DC has long since placed the principles of the Constitution and the survival of our Republic in the circular file. I believe the States, under their plainly written Constitutional authority, are our last hope for the survival of our Republic. God help them and us find the courage to persevere.

Democrat Governor
Democrat House
Democrat Senate
Democrat Governor’s Council

This was no surprise. Things will change in two years.

I promise you we’re going to try again, but with a binding resolution this time.

I simply cannot understand these things.

If the 9th/10th Amendments no longer have any effect, then all of this is meaningless.

The General Assembly further declares that acts which would cause such an abridgment include, but are not limited to:
