Democrats, it appears, are becoming increasingly willing to fire away at conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh.
Exhibit A - This statement from Congressman Alan Grayson, a Florida Democrat, is floating around the blogosphere.
“I’m sorry Limbaugh called for harsh sentences for drug addicts while he was a drug addict. I’m also sorry that he’s bent on seeing America fail. And I’m sorry that Limbaugh is one sorry excuse for a human being.”
Todd Jurkowski, a spokesman for Grayson, confirmed the statement. He said that Grayson said it shortly after RNC chair Michael Steele issued and apology to Limbaugh and so "the congressman decided to isssue one as well, and that's what came out of it."

Usually they use it not only as a slam on the individual person, but on the concept of right and wrong as well.
If you espouse some principle that you fail to live up to, the left points at that as devaluing the principle itself.
Good point. The addiction to drugs is not in itself a crime. Being under the influence of certain substances can be a misdemeanor though.
The 8th is a moderate to right leaning district. Was in GOPs hands for years.

Grayson is forgetting that Obama is an admitted DRUG ADDICT/USER.
