I was doing my usual “needing a good laugh” surfing this morning, and I came across this little nugget this information.
Apparently, the FReepers are jumping all over themselves at the prospect that the “usurper” would accept a challenge from the bastion of Right Wing conservatism in America, Rush “Boss” Limbaugh (thanks, Keith) for a debate on the issues that face our country today.
My eyeballs are stinging from the vitriol and hatred that pours forth from this thread — but I’m not surprised. Free Republic has always been a place where tinfoil is always in high demand, and the Citizens of the Great republican state of Wingnuttia are ready for any challenge brought forth by the Liberal Left.
Onward — over the fold, if you dare....
So...I warn you now. Carry your containers of bleach or whatever cleaning solvent you use at the ready, for herein lies some of the most brain cell-destroying material that I have yet to read.

Rush should run for President. He probably wouldn’t get elected but he’d give the party a hell of a boost. He at the very least has a firm grasp and a belief in conservative policies that most republican lawmakers just feign.
What we see here is that “narrow slice” of the Republican Party, stating what they really feel. Rush for Prez, and screw the rest of the party. Keep it guys - you’re doing Hoover proud.

There are, of course, many more quotes of support from all of the Republican Lemmings that hold Boss Limbaugh aloft on the pillar of banality, but my eyes were stinging so bad that I couldn’t look anymore.
For the record, the time for debates is over. If the Conservatives wanted to have a fair discussion about changing the course of this country in a bipartisan fashion, that time has now come and gone. All they can do now is hide behind El Rushbo and his golden microphone, and complain about how conservative values are being ‘shot to hell’.
You folks had your chance - you had eight years. And your man in the White House pissed all of your values right down the toilet.
