Private sector jobs fell 697,000 in the U.S. in February, according to a national employment report published Wednesday by payroll giant Automatic Data Processing Inc. and consultancy Macroeconomic Advisers.
That's higher than the 630,000 loss forecast in a Dow Jones Newswires survey, and would be the largest number of jobs lost in one month during this recession. The figure for January was revised to show 614,000 jobs lost, compared with the initial figure of 522,000.

Every month more and more people losing jobs. No hope for the economy turning around. People with jobs are not spending, which creates a perfect storm for economic disaster. And our “leader” wants to add more taxes, more government controls, new indirect taxation through green policies for a problem that doesn’t even exist, etc. How the hell do you stop this cycle of death?

I wonder what’s not being counted in the Private sector job lost count of 697,000 that’s being counted in the TrimTabs Investment Research estimate that the U.S. economy lost 778,000 jobs?

The economy lost 2.1 million jobs in the past three months, which represents about 1.6% of the entire work force, said Charles Biderman, chief executive of the Sausalito, Calif.-based research firm. The loss as a percentage of the total work force is the largest since February 1975, the report said.
“We expect the economy to lose at least 650,000 jobs in each of the next four to six months,” Mr. Biderman said in the statement.

Things really went down hill since Oboma was given affirmative action. In my opinion, he’s doing this on purpose. But don’t forget, their job saver stimulus package is going ti save alot of jobs. After all in the long run our economy will come around and begin to prosper once more.
When you were in debt wasn’t it common sense not to try and spend your way out of it??? We already have enough debt as a country, all this package does is put us further into debt. And who’s gonna pay for it in the end?? My generation, in gracious tax dollars which I would personally love to keep for myself.
