A couple drove 170 kilometres (100 miles) from South Africa's famous Kruger National Park with a highly venomous spitting cobra in their car, the Beeld newspaper reported on Wednesday. Gordon Parratt, 69, felt the 85-centimetre (33-inch) long snake wind itself around his leg while he was driving.

Things that make you go . . . OH MY GOD, WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!

I'd have made one stop and not ever gotten back in.
I never would have lived long enough to call an expert. I would have died of fright and deprived that snake of delivering a lethal bite. Either that or I’d only have one leg today.

Gosh, I miss Steve Irwin now lol

I nearly wrecked the car when a cricket crawled up my pant leg (didn’t know what it was, but knew it was a bug). Got out of the car and stripped in front of my hysterically laughing kids. God only knows what I would have done with a snake, much less a cobra!
I’m checking my truck from now on! (shudder)
I thought only dogs humped legs.
“Are we there yet?” takes on a whole new meaning when I read these kinds of stories.....
