U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said Tuesday that the Obama administration will take actions to tackle international tax dodgers.
To catch a thief - it takes one to know one.
Perhaps we should start with the ones in the Cabinet...and in the Congress.
Fewer travel expenses that way.
” Obama administration will take actions to tackle international tax dodgers “
That’s NOT what he said!!!!
I’ve heard the airheads on F&F (Fluff & Folly)repeatedly report that Geithner is going to ‘crack down’ on Tax Evading — right after playing the clip in which he clearly says “Tax AVOIDANCE”...
There’s a world of difference — and what he actually said is much more ominous....
(Case in point - tinkering with ‘mortgage interest deduction’ is “cracking down on tax avoidance”)
Practicing for his fight with National tax dodgers?

You just can’t make this stuff up..
When Geithner’s signature starts showing up on currency,
circle his name in red and write TAX CHEAT on the bill.
oh, ouch... you’re right.
Tax EVASION is illegal. Tax AVOIDANCE is playing within the laws to reduce your tax burden.
So, Geithner is proposing that his department go after those that know the rules too well.
Meanwhile, they genuflect to Russia?
and Iran
Curious approach is all I'm sayin'.
When Geithners signature starts showing up on currency,
circle his name in red and write TAX CHEAT on the bill.
Does this mean that he’ll go after the deadbeats that make up the base of the democrat party? Those freeloading idiots haven’t payed a stitch of federal income tax in years. It’s time that they pay their fair share for a change.
..and building your own furniture and not recognizing the difference between the cost of materials and the cost of similar furniture as income.
...a stylist trading a haircut for an oil change.
..building someone a computer in trade for a home repair.
This is actually imputed income, but don't put it past them. Oh, almost overlooked the HYPOCRISY coming from someone known to have committed FELONY TAX EVASION.
Tax dodgers who become tax collectors then massively redistribute wealth/income are evil vermin. AKA socialists.
I wonder if he includes small business owners who might decide to keep their income below the 250K Obama tax hike bracket?
Are they going to force such people to work more?
circle his name in red and write TAX CHEAT on the bill.
Yeah, someone wise once posted that...
Guess the tax dodgers have to simply apply to be a member of Obamaloon’s loon-O-tic cabinet and all will be forgiven.
I still volunteer to operate the guillotine when we have our upcoming revolution. Nope, I beg, not volunteer.
the good news is they are willing to search out and punish someone
the bad news is, it is “the rich”, not terrorists (who reportedly - may be released)
Maybe they would keep Gitmo open if it was used to detain rich people with offshore accounts (aka, investors and job creators) unwilling to “give it up” to the marxist administration
