HANNIBAL, Mo. -- The Hannibal Police Department had several contacts with Manuel Cazares since 2006, including arrests on charges of assault and burglary involving the woman he is now accused of killing.
But it wasn't until officers discovered the bodies of Amanda Thomas and Carl Patrick Epley in a Hannibal apartment Saturday morning that police checked the immigration status of Cazares and learned he was in the country illegally.

There’s the whole trap they set up, where they claim that it’s not the state’s job to enforce immigration, but then the Feds don’t do it.

Of course they did not check his immigration status. How else to avoid identifying another criminal illegal entrant?
Voters of Ralls County: Turn this sheriff out of office. Replace him with someone who will enforce all the laws, not only the ones that are politically correct to enforce.
must be playing by Obama Rules, did they register him to vote though??
Not only will he be registered to vote but his mortgage and health care shall be paid by the evil taxpayer.
And now two citizens are dead because of it...
Having spent some time in Hannibal recently....The pool of potential candidates in that area is pretty sad. There must be something iin the water. Their big claim to fame is “democrat days” which attracts a wide range of perverts and drunks. Basically a several day orgy in what used to be a Hollidome....Clinton was a hit there....
It is the law in Missouri. I don’t care what they say. That’s why the law was passed so that law enforcement could partner with ICE to enforce immigration law.
I bet my next paycheck that this police department partners with the DEA and the ATF everyday. ICE isn’t any different.
Ping!
