As we play Jeopardy:
"I'll take 2008 Elections for $2000, Alex." "The Jeopardy answer is, 'Tim Pawlenty and his fellow RINOs.'"
"What is the proof that a lot of Republicans did not learn a thing from the 2008 election?"

Pawlenty was on mccain’s short list.
It seems clear the RNC leaders do not want republicans in the republican party.

Never thought much of Pawlenty before today.
Now I know I will never vote for him.
One less thing to consider down the road.

It seems that ever since President Reagan passed away, the country slowly went with him....

Reagan is dead. The RINOs would like to bury Reaganism as well.

Oh..my...gosh. Hopefully, this is the last desperate gasp of the RINOs.
Palwenty was overseeing the Coleman recount and went on national radio to assure everyone that everything is fine and that we should all simmer down.
Yeah, well when they hand the seat over to Staurt Smalley I want to see Palwenty tell us how everthing went just swell.
IT IS TIME TO PURGE ALL THE RINOs!

I would be very happy with Republicans in fact and not simulated democrats.
Steele is an idiot if he still does not get DINO trumps RINO.
Obama ran as a DINO and won.

Palin better move away from the McCain position on amnesty or she is toast. I spoke to one of her influential supporters at CPAC and he agrees. He is trying to arrange a trip down to the border for her in the coming months. It is her Achilles heel.
If she persists in legalizing the status of the illegals, I will work actively against her.

you are correct
every person on Freerepublic.com MUST join their local GOP club/party to have the conservative voice heard.
Mr. Steele can not have RINO candidates without the support of the locals.

to Rebuild If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
If it is broke, and it is worth fixing, fix it.
If you try everything you can to fix it, and it can't be fixed, get someone who is better than you at fixing things to try and fix it.
If it becomes obvious that it ain't fixable, scrap it and build a new one. (Do what you can to make the new one better than the old one.)
One last possibility:
It's operable, but is in fact being wielded by your enemies against you, quit helping them maintain and operate it.
