This is getting stupid and exactly what the Democrats, and especially Rahm Emanuel, want to see happen. I saw what Steele said and it was nothing! Rush is just playing into the Democrats’ hand.

Did Rush support any of the candidates or mention a potential RNC pick before Steele won?

The GOP had just had to have their own well-spoken black man.

Nevermind that he's an anti-gun RINO who's really not up to the job - skin color was the issue.

I grew up with the values that you stand up for those who supported you. Michael Steele is a fraud as far as I’m concerned for distancing himself from Rush at the most important time. Rush spoke the truth and now Steele calls him “incendiary”. You are a disgrace Michael Steele.

Unfortunately, this is what they want - to keep hammering away at the Rush Limbaugh strategy to split Republicans and conservatives over this imaginary issue. Apparently, that strategy succeeded with Steele and Limbaugh.

As a strategy, it would be better for Limbaugh to ignore ALL of this chatter. And for GOP leaders to do the same. Personalizing this and focusing it on Limbaugh is what the liberals want with their Alinsky strategy on this. The longer the debate becomes about Rush Limbaugh, the more time that is not focused on Obama's failures and his disastrous policies. Calling out Limbaugh is like having Carville, Begala, and Stephanopoulos running the show.

Thanks for posting this. I had to take my mom for an appt. and totally missed Rush today of all days. Arrrggghhhh!

Rush doesn’t need some backstabber going about practically apologizing for what he said in his speech. Trying to appease everyone who didn’t like what he had to say. Man, I’m really sick of people like this.

Go, Rush!

Rush gets it. This is a war for the heart and soul of America. Yes, Rush is very entertaining, but he can also be incendiary and ugly. This is a WAR. The ‘Rats have known this for years and have been handing us our collective asses. Suck it up, folks. Politics goes beyond family and religion. That is simply the way it is.

Rush: “I would be embarrassed to say that I’m in charge of the Republican Party in the sad-sack state that it’s in.”

‘nuff said.

Like your website SoA, by the way. Good work.

Guess I’ll send back that request for a donation from the RNC with a note demanding that Steele apologist to Rush for Steele’s incendiary comment.

Cheers!

"I hope the RNC chairman will realize he's not a talking head pundit, that he is supposed to be working on the grassroots and rebuilding it, and maybe doing something about our open primary system and fixing it so that Democrats do not nominate our candidates. It's time, Mr. Steele, for you to go behind the scenes and start doing the work that you were elected to do instead of trying to be some talking head media star, which you're having a tough time pulling off. I hope you figure out how to run a primary system. But it seems to me that it's Michael Steele who is off to a shaky start."

Where do we get all these RINOs? What has happened to the Republican Party since my boss, President Reagan, was our leader?! No wonder a neophyte, do-nothing, teleprompter tied, possibly illegal alien Chicago machine politician beat Sen. John McCain last Fall!! The Democrats were able to pick an uber-RINO to be the GOP nominee, ACORN was able to steal millions of votes and the rest is history...

Instead of the RINO republican national committee, people should give to the Club For Growth:
