But the author misses entirely the point. The mullahs want to kill all Israeli Jews. They may keep their hands (now) off the Iranian Jews, but that's a moot point when the life of millions of Israelis is at stake. The author is basically buying the mullah's premise that "Zionists" are free game, and distinct from "normal Jews".
“Iran has not waged an expansionary war in more than two centuries.” How is Iran sending weapons and supplies to the insurgents not an “expansionary war?”
Aren’t their newspapers worth more than their stock now?
What too many observers on Iran fail to realize is that 1979 was a most fundamental break in Iranian history. They don't root in their previous history. They regime has an ideology that consists of emulating Mohammed the Arab prophet coupled with Soviet-style revolutionary ideology.
