You want me to rephrase my question, even though you understood it?
I’ll vote for that with my money AND vote(s). Not one dime for the RNC. I will continue to support my Rep., Mike McCaul, and Sen. John Cornyn. They are what we need more of. We need a new Conservative Party, led by Cornyn, or John Bolton, or any real conservative.
I am going to personally MELT the the RNC phone and fax lines until the RINO is GONE.
“Steele made a remark about how ‘you always win when you bet on black.’”
Nasty! Did he really say that? GOP is the party of true equality. By bringing that up, Steele became a Dem racist at that moment.
Rush needs to talk about this. It's no way to treat the Republican faithful. He started a fire under Steele and now needs to throw on some fuel!
Aside from Operation Chaos, and aside from not supporting McCain earlier in the general election, it is very hard for me to see how Limbaugh can be a leader of the party when he refused to support any conservative in the primaries.
I think this whole thing is stupid. Rush doesn’t run the GOP and I don’t think he wants to. Obama is using Rush because he wants to make republican politicians look like they have no mind of their own.
And I haven’t seen any republicans step forward to simply say they have their own convictions, Rush is a great conservative voice, but Obama is just trying to stereotype all republicans as followers.
“tired of making millionaires out of Hannity and what I think are other also-ran opportunists”
So you’re not a capitalist? I guess Socialists and Communists are welcome to post here, too, so knock yourself out.
“Was he elected because hes black?”
Nothin’ gets past you! (wink)
I think Rush is brilliant. I think he's the most entertaining man on radio. I think he's a hero. But I do think he takes the arrogant shtick too far. We now have to win over ordinary citizens and women who are put off by this sort of thing. I'm not saying that we need to appease them but stop giving them ammunition to cast Conservatives as evil. It's crunch time now. That said I'm proud of Rush and his behavior lately.
Either Steele goes or I go. I don't even want to hear him apologize. Just get him the hell out of office and I mean FAST.
If he stays my support goes elsewhere: Libertarian, Right to Life or something new.
Ok, I've made up my mind now. You are not a troll, but you most certainly are a 100% certifiable nutjob. AND, quite possibly, you are typing your responses from the RNC headquarters.
Anyone more interested in a certain party more than they are in their Country and the principles on which it was founded shouldn't be on this site.
Please visit GOP.org, they probably have a messageboard there.
Michael Medved is wrong about many, many things political, but he’s right when he says it’s far easier — difficult as it may be — to change a political party from within rather than attempt to establish a new one. Rush is going about this the right way. There’s a huge conservative base already in the Republican Party, we just need to move to have that base lead the Party.
They (the media) had two years to bring up concerns...and didn't. They bent over backwards not to. If anything, operation chaos, extended the opportunity to bring up concerns.
So Steele is another RINO?
I agree that the pubbies should be “abloished”!

Rahm did get what he wanted to some degree.
He got you, a poster on a conservative internet site, to believe he got what he wanted.
Yes, Rahm thinks he won with this, but even he--the knuckle-popper-in-Obama's-ear guy--can't stop this snowball of conservatism.
Rahm and the liberals are good, but don't let them convince you they have hurt the conservative movement and that they "set up" Rush to carry their water.
The GOP has to change to be effective, and Rush is encouraging it to do so.
The technical term for _ussified is impuissant. Since that is the only way to describe the GOP these days, we should be able to say it without descending into the vernacular.
I got hung up on too!
Can’t freaking believe it!
I am done with them.
