These are the first pictures of Barack Obama inside the White House with his British stepmother.
Taken the day he was sworn in as President, they show him giving Kezia Obama and the rest of his extended family a tour of his new home. Embraced by Mrs Obama, who travelled to Washington DC from her council house in Bracknell, the President proudly posed in an official reception for the family.

He is also surrounded by his half-brother Abongo, his sister-in-law, niece, nephew and other relatives, who all travelled from Kenya and were in the VIP enclosure for his inauguration in January. Mrs Obama, 66, who was married to the President’s late father, also named Barack, when they lived in Kenya, wore a traditional African outfit made in Tanzania especially for the big day....

Two questions:
1) Why'd they wait so long to release this picture?
2) Doesn't Obama have any caucusian relatives, i.e. his mother's cousin's daughter, the grandson of the sister of his (white) grandfather?

ah yes. if i ever travel to the white house, i’ll make sure to wear jeans and dress my kids in hoodies.
The answer to #2 is he wouldn’t claim them. He has shown with his associations and actions as president he has nothing but contempt for white people.
Geez, the guy is wearing jeans and one of the kids is wearing a hoodie. Could we please raise the standards of dress when visiting the whitehouse and taking photos with the president?

Did he even know any of these people before his 20's or 30's? Did they spend 1/10^6 of the time his white grands did raising him? Did THEY put him on the path to knowledge and power (Columbia/Harvard)? For the man who is supposed to be "post-racial", they're trying so hard to make him the Black Messiah.
C’mon — there’s no jerry curl in the WH shot. If you’re going to use screen caps from Coming to America, they should be relevant. :)
