Capping Carbon Emissions May Increase Energy Rates, Orszag Says (America, YOU'VE BEEN PUNKED!)
ABC ^ | 3/1/2009 | MARY BRUCE

Office of Management and Budget Director Peter Orszag admitted this morning that capping carbon emissions may increase energy prices but said Americans would receive other benefits through President Obama's budget.

"Let's be fair about this," Orszag said in an exclusive "This Week" interview with George Stephanopoulos.

"Either you're going to look at what is collected through the tax code and what's returned through the tax code. And on that basis, there's a tax cut for 95 percent of Americans, or you have to go all in. Let's also count the benefits that families get through Pell Grants, the benefits that they'll receive through constraining health care costs, the benefits that they get from weatherizing their homes, and so on. All in, this budget makes the vast majority of American families much better off."

The OMB director also said ... "The deficit reduction doesn't just come from the economy recovering. And by 2013 or 2014, let's all hope that the economy is back on its feet.

Bingo! Still doing the Soviet 5-year Plans. And they're on-track for an FDR-style recovery.

Now that we have left you with almost none of your own money, you will vote and behave the right way, or you will see nothing from your all powerfull government.

What? No monthly brick of government cheese? What will we eat?

The size of our allowance from the BO government depends if we do what they want.

My home does not need weatherizing, I don’t need a Pell grant. They said that W didn’t care about black people? Well, for sure BO doesn’t care about me.

...and Oboma is meeting with the UK this week to "equalize the wealth" world wide. One world economy, one world leader, one world savior.

Hmmm... Gas goes up to 5 bucks a gallon. It’s at a buck seventy five now. So for my 16 gallon tank that would be an addition 52 dollars a week for gas. Given that I will be getting a wopping 13 bucks a week back that would be I am into the government for 39 bucks a week or 2,000 a year.

And that is before universal health care raises my rates as well as the tax cut expiring.

Yeah... I guess I am not part of th 95% who will get a tax break.

One more nail in America’s coffin, one more day closer to the death of the middle class.

Oboma, the false Messiah, will protect and reward his "chosen" people.

I wonder how long it will be before the sheeple realize that it is not about "Climate Change" it's about dismantling Capitalism, pure plain and simple!!!

Once America is out of the way, then the REAL "Change" can take place all over the world.

Page 4 of the article:

Finally, the Senate this week is going to be debating an omnibus spending proposal that has several thousand earmarks. Orszag said the president will sign the 2009 spending bill, despite his campaign pledge to reduce earmarks. On the campaign trail, Obama pledged to reduce earmarks to below 1994 levels — when the GOP took control of the House — or less than $7.8 billion a year.

“This is last year’s business. We want to just move on,” Orszag said. “Let’s get this bill done, get it into law and move forward.”

“THIS IS LAST YEAR’S BUSINESS.” Well last year it would have been vetoed. Obama said he would eliminate pork. It now became this years business and he is full of sh!t.

I've been doing bios on the people in the Obama and boy can I tell you it is a "ship of fools". I'm not surprised though. I told people I knew who were supporting Obama that clowns like Orszag were the very types Obama would appoint. The American public is going to "take it" like they have never "taken it".

If I had only one wish it would be that the clowns who voted for Obama would be the ones who suffer the pain he is going to inflict. Alas I know it won't be this way. We will all suffer for this stupidity. I'm mad as hell at the Obama voters. I have relatives I'm still not speaking to. It will take years to repair the damage just within my own family.

I have a prediction. In about a years time the number of people who will claim that they voted for Obama will be a lot smaller than it is today. A pox on them all.

Most people do get it already, I reckon, according to polls. Perhaps the salient question revolves around how to galvanize the sheeple to thwart those seeking the change.

I got a Chinese scoot that gets 70+ mpg that I ride when the gas price is over 2.50. It is not a pleasant alternative but at $5 a gallon I can’t justify going to work in my 26 mpg carat all.

Cap and trade policy will be just the opposite of what we need to get energy independent and to help the ailing economy at the same time.

Obambi not once mentioned nuclear power, drilling for more oil and natural gas, perfecting clean coal technology etc. in his affress.

Instead he is putting all his eggs in one basket which will not only take untold years to actually implement but it will require the necessary research and development to discover if these green technolgies will actually be effective and efficient!

"IT IS DESIGNED TO INCREASE ENERGY RATES ... by about 45% to 100% ..."

But we all know how well government designs work, so we could be talking more, lots more.

The ONLY “benefits” my wife and I have EVER gotten from the federal government is national defense, a mortgage deduction, tax deferred 401k and 403b and some Interstate highways. Other than that, zip, zilch, nada. It should be this way for all citizens.
