It appears that Rush Limbaugh's speech yesterday to the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) was just too much for CNN's political analyst, Bill Schneider, to handle. Schneider just couldn't contain his inner liberal as you can hear in the amazing invective hurled Limbaugh's way in this video as he was interviewed by Randi Kaye about the speech. Here is the transcript of Schneider in all his extremely biased glory:
RANDI KAYE, CNN HOST: Senior political analyst, Bill Schneider, watched it from Los Angeles. He's part of the best political team on television and he joins me now by phone. Bill, what do you make of Rush Limbaugh's tone during that keynote address?
BILL SCHNEIDER: Well, it was an angry tone. He was the hero of 1994. Fifteen years ago when Republicans won a big victory in Congress. And that was the year of the angry white men. When they came to power they honored him as being the prophet who led them to victory. Well, this was a very angry speech. By the way, they're not all white and they're not all men but they are angry conservative voters. They didn't do so well last year but they're still angry. The tone of this speech was mocking, bullying, it was full of contempt, and I thought it was a very harsh speech. One that while it rallied the conservative audience it also angered a lot of Democrats and people who aren't particularly partisan just by the tone of it.

I imagine the Declaration of Independence sounded angry to the King of England.
My first thought was "and"?
Just what do they expect?
“Truth to a liberal is like holy water to a vampire.”
I would love to have someone give me a liberal moral code. I will try to suggest what I see:
1. Thou shalt not be racist, but only white people *can* be racist.
2. Thou shalt not have more than another, unless thou art a part of the ruling elite.
Maybe that is better put as: “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”
3. Thou shalt have no god but the State.
4. Thou shalt obey the State in all things.
An important point here is that *none* of these put any real limitation on what the powerful can do in the name of the State. The genius of Western Civilization is in finding ways to limit the power of the State, and that is the one thing that liberals seem to detest the most.
Well golleeeee, the Libs Panties are in a wad. Imagine my surprise. They can try to change the entire country into a Beacon of Socialism and they whine when called on it. Give em hell Rush.
Please, Bill...your red undies are showing!
When does Dictator Hussein’s sacred shooting of the rifle in the air begin?
Oh dear, does that sound too harsh?
He said he thinks Democrats did the same thing in Iraq. Most Democrats that I heard didn't ever say "We hope the United States loses." Some of them said, "We're not winning. We can't win." But to say, "I hope the President fails" and at another point it even got rather sinister because he said there were forces there that were trying to undermine the country from within.
Give us a break, Schneider. Everyone knows you libs wanted Bush to fail in Iraq.
I've read through the entire transcript, and am unable to find a single instance of this. On the other hand, I hear Hussein Obama do this almost every time he speaks.
.. mocking, bullying, it was full of contempt ..
Youbetcha !

That pretty well sums up my sentiments for the Kenyan illegal POTUS-imposter and the rest of the socialists in D.C.
Hitting the nail on the head, Limbaugh threatens all the years of brain-washing and indoctrination in the publik skoolz, all the diversity-indoctrination, all the Kumbaya-KoolAid-drinking, and the redistribution of wealth plans.
No wonder they attack him; because he hits too close to home for their comfort.
Limbaugh was :
1)Angry; instead full of humor and optimism of helping Americans to become successful
2)Mocking: Here I would agree, but not without justification
3)Bullying: I would call it rallying the troops
4)Full of contempt: Yea, for Obama trying to destroy the Constitution and capitalism

Which is the only reason CNN aired Rush. I'm sure they pulled in some decent numbers by showing Rush at CPAC and then tanked those numbers with this idiot. I would love to see the stats on this.
as harsh as “cling to their guns and religion”?
vaudine
Let’s just say that Conservatives have a more “intelligent” sense of humour!!
“The tone of this speech was mocking, bullying, it was full of contempt,”
Not that we ever heard the same thing from Pelosi, Reid et al when talking about Bush.
*yawn* Bill who?

This is the first I have heard his name. I have never seen him. ( no sarcasm...really)
