CNN's Bill Schneider: Limbaugh Speech Was 'Angry, Mocking, Bullying, Harsh, and Full of Contempt'

It appears that Rush Limbaugh's speech yesterday to the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) was just too much for CNN's political analyst, Bill Schneider, to handle. Schneider just couldn't contain his inner liberal as you can hear in the amazing invective hurled Limbaugh's way in this video as he was interviewed by Randi Kaye about the speech. Here is the transcript of Schneider in all his extremely biased glory:

RANDI KAYE, CNN HOST: Senior political analyst, Bill Schneider, watched it from Los Angeles. He's part of the best political team on television and he joins me now by phone. Bill, what do you make of Rush Limbaugh's tone during that keynote address?

BILL SCHNEIDER: Well, it was an angry tone. He was the hero of 1994. Fifteen years ago when Republicans won a big victory in Congress. And that was the year of the angry white men. When they came to power they honored him as being the prophet who led them to victory. Well, this was a very angry speech. By the way, they're not all white and they're not all men but they are angry conservative voters. They didn't do so well last year but they're still angry. The tone of this speech was mocking, bullying, it was full of contempt, and I thought it was a very harsh speech. One that while it rallied the conservative audience it also angered a lot of Democrats and people who aren't particularly partisan just by the tone of it.

“The tone of this speech was mocking, bullying, it was full of contempt, and I thought it was a very harsh speech.”

LOL...this guy is too funny. In my old neighborhood, he’d be red meat. The guy is offended like a sissy gets offended and wants to tell the teacher. This is great soap opera watching these socialists. No wonder they disdain freedom and free speech...they can’t handle the truth.

May have been mocking and contemptuous, but the other adjectives, I don’t think so.

Oh no, not that. The horror! A conservative angered Democrats! And who are these "not particularly partisan people" they asked? Wolf Blitzer?

Now they need their Mommies to change their Depends.

Don't ya love how when these MSM guys hear something they disagree with its always about the "angry white male"?

It seems libs are never happy, so they want the misery to be spread to all of us angry white males.

Btw... I saw part of the speech and thought it was great!

“...The tone of this speech was mocking, bullying, it was full of contempt, and I thought it was a very harsh speech. One that while it rallied the conservative audience it also angered a lot of Democrats and people who aren’t particularly partisan just by the tone of it...”

I suppose only Democrats would think that a message of empowering people to succeed in freedom rather than giving them simply what the goverment wants them to have is mocking, bullying and full of contempt.

I’ve got plently of contempt for them...

How about the energy undersecretary coming about and bragging that cap and trade won’t hurt the economy because the cost is offset by the low to middle-class tax cut.

It’s really nice to get a tax cut that they already have spent for us. Just like everything else the government does, it will cost far more than they estimate, and guess who will end up paying the lion’s share; far more than any $13 /week (on average) tax cut. So not only do we not really get a tax cut, we will end up paying more than we otherwise would have if everything had stayed the same as it was.

Democrats lie about everything.

Anyone have contact numbers for this Liberal schmuck or somewhere we can send our thoughts about him to. Perhaps his sponsors would like to hear our comments as well.

The title pretty much sums up how conservatives are feeling right now.

Alright. obama is working on destroying our economy, putting a great number of people out of work, and seriously diminishing our standard of living/ access to health care/national defense - but Rush is mean. OK.

Another contemptuous propagandist to mock, ridicule, not watch. Great thread. Thanks to all posters. (really don’t know who Bill Schneider is...haven’t watched him...can’t recall him...don’t care to know him).

this is proof positive that it was an effective speech. The libs start damage control as soon as possible. I'm sorry Bill, but the way the liberals are acting by gloating “I won” and spending money that doesn't exist by ramming legislation through without honest debate...we are angry and full of contempt. Just about everything Obama, Pelosi, and Reid have done deserves to be mocked. Biden is such a clueless...well moron...that it is always going to be considered mocking when you point out the stupid things he does and says.

In other words...get a grip Bill.
