The Talk Shows
Sunday, March 1st, 2009
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen; Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., and Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Secretary of Defense Robert Gates.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Office of Management and Budget Director Peter Orszag; House Republican Whip Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Va.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN) : Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen.
They all act like they are so cool because they have poltical correct comments. Do they realize how stupid, silly and foolish they sound? Anyone could repeat such thoughtless talking points of the Democrat Party Machine.
If this is the cream of the crop in the MSM, they are hiring a bunch of simple simon jerks.
It was infinitely perfect.
If we win more elections you won't have to send such electronic missives and if we don't they won't be heeded anyway.
Well, Steffie succeeded in his goal to get Cantor to repudiate Rush’s “fail” remark.
That was a big mistake by Cantor. Instead of answering the question whether he agreed with Rush that this jerk in the wh should fail by saying no one wants him to fail, he should have said that Rush only wants him to fail in taking us away from liberty and free market principles.
Left wing sharks with these weird creepy smiles on their crooked faces. It could be called science fiction reporting!
Many people in the MSM really thing (in their own fantasy) they are objective reporters.
(((((
My challenge to any “Mainstream reporter” is to see how many times they use the word ‘conservative’ versus the word ‘liberal’ in their reporting.
If they rarely/never use the word ‘liberal’, they ARE liberal - not ‘middle of the road.’
They see ‘conservatives’ as Other.
My second test would be to ask each one to name people in the news that they would describe as having viewpoints or political opinions to the left of their own. (We know they would have no trouble rattling off names of people to the right of their own political “mainstream” perspective.) I am very curious to know who they would name.
Are you seeing snow this morning?
Well, Steffie succeeded in his goal to get Cantor to repudiate Rushs fail remark
Katrina Van den Huevel (aka Prune Face) takes on Karl Rove.
Not a good idea, Katrina.
How about pointing out that on many issues Obama ran not as a liberal, but pretended to be a conservative, especially on economic issues.
####
Karl Rove tried to do this on Steffi’s show, but libs have so little tolerance for opposing points of view that Katrina the commie and Steffi just talked over him.
Well, let me conclude by making the point that we have lost too many elections where we’ve run not as Republicans espousing conservatism, but rather me-tooism Republicans running as “caring” RINOs. Exceptions often prove the rule, and I’m not saying there aren’t any (Santorum in Pennsylvania comes to mind), but by and large we need to consider just what we ideologically believe and promote THAT. I’m convinced that that would win us more elections. And that was Limbaugh’s point.
RINO is not a term I’m even comfortable using. Still, what do we call those Republicans who think conservatism is a losing “ism”? It certainly is losing to the media. But that’s another fight entirely. We need to close ranks, not bust them up.
I want us to be big tent as long as conservatism, not even religiously based, rather fiscal conservatism and strong America conservatism, and yes, promoting so-called family values conservatism (without having to promote, say, one religious view), is the main focus.
How about pointing out that on many issues Obama ran not as a liberal, but pretended to be a conservative, especially on economic issues.

They have just got to hate having Rove on. He counters with facts, which he has mastered wonderfully.
Yes, it is snowing like crazy. It’s even starting to stick on the bare ground and trees. Not the roads, though. I just went out to the barn to get some gardening supplies (ironic, huh?), and the wind was blowing snow into my ear.
Temperature has been holding steady at 34 degrees F all morning. Since dawn (I have a multistation outdoor weather system I use to monitor the weather). 12 inches rain in 24 hours, Friday—yesterday, about 15 tornado warnings and a funnel cloud spotted close by, and now this! Snow!!!
This is Alabama, not Indiana!
I’m so tired of girly-men Republicans.
Ah, Jeff, just wait, I can return the favor to you some day, LOL!
We both live in, after all, the South, and my day is a bit unusual, to say the least, for March.
Your weather is what is normal for us this time of year.
Rahm on Fake the nation is campaigning against Rush. When axed about Cap n Trade he went back to the 95% get their $400 deduction and avoided the question completely. No follow up.
Now he’s saying how he will force the Auto Industry to make crappy little cars.
Pray for America, Our Troops and obama’s Failure
How does Romney win the CPAC straw poll?? Good grief. He is hardly a rock rib Conservative.
Pray for America
I am sorry, I just can’t take Orszag seriously when it looks like he is wearing a pancake on his head.
LOL. And he has that cute little lisp.
