Conservative activists on Saturday named former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney the winner of a poll for best 2012 GOP presidential candidate.
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney won 20 percent of the vote in straw poll for presidential favorites.
The poll marked the third consecutive year Romney came out on top
Is DeMint an old man who was lied to? I guess DeMint is an archenemy of yours now because he supports the Mitt.
I take it YOUR check cleared, Norm ?
I would rather the cookie monster was president than Obama.
DeMint was lied to, and he was a fool for supporting the scum. What’s YOUR excuse, Norm ?
“Romney vetoed abortion legislation as governor. It wasnt a quick flip. News flash: 1994 was over a decade ago - even in 2007.”
Do you want to watch Romney debating himself on dueling videos?
“Romney has given two accounts of his changing views on abortion. One is that he was pro-choice until 2005, when he became pro-life after researching stem cell issues. The other is that he was personally pro-life but refused to impose his views on the people of Massachusetts.”
Here is more confusing 2005 video after he had his epiphany.

If you want to exchange thoughts with me you better tune down the drama or I’m tuning out. I don’t know what’s become of you of late.
Allow me to speak for her: Can it.
Same old talking points, same old crap. It’s no surprise Juan McCain’s head cheerleader would gravitate to another RINO. What’s your problem, Norm ? What’s your aversion to Conservatives ? You like liberals that kow-tow to Democrats and enact their agenda as Republican nominees ?
The economy and the state of budgetary affairs are in a shambles and getting worse every day under this administration. Romney has the credibility and the private sector experience to counter that and win.
Until they play him pushing for the bail out and show what he did to the Mass. economy with his health plan as he headed out the door.
You walked into a war, Ace. If it’s too hot for you, I suggest you duck out. If you think I’m going to just sit here and let you repeat the same talking points crap, same excuses, and same lies, you got another thing coming. I had little use for McCain except to stop Slick Willard. You don’t have that one anymore. You’re on the wrong side.
I oppose Mitt Romney.
But then again, I oppose all Socialists and fascists, even those hiding behind the Republican brand.
Are you going to become head cheerleader now for the Slick Willardbots, Norm ? I’d just like to know.
>>Then it must be asked: what about those who got less than 20%? That does not an argument make.<<
First, I admit to not caring for Romney - McCain was about my fourth choice and still came in well above Romney/Guiliani
but I’d argue that those who got less than 20% either are not the guy or else they don’t have sufficient name recognition or organization yet.
He is a career politician and the son of a career politician, even his mother was a politician.
You said he wasn’t, I know that there was a time when he was in the private sector.
What credibility, Norm ? That must be a helluva paycheck you’re getting.
What check? I’ve never worked for the Romney campaign nor given him a dime of my money.
Romney has one term of elective office. That is hardly a career politician.
Interesting possibility but we don’t know where the General stands on issues or if he’d be an effective campaigner.
