Conservative activists on Saturday named former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney the winner of a poll for best 2012 GOP presidential candidate.
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney won 20 percent of the vote in straw poll for presidential favorites.
The poll marked the third consecutive year Romney came out on top
Don’t even go there.
Not a fan of RomneyCare nor his quick flip on abortion when he decided to run for president.
Apparently you’ve never heard of Slick Willardcare ? Another bankrupting Slick Willard boondoggle.
Why do you love failed Socialist RINOs so much, Jane ?
As Rush said, Mac was the media darling for a reason.....
He was not the choice of the GOP...indys and dems crossed over in NH and SC.
Crist handed him Florida.
Answer the question, Norm.
How did Brian and Beverly Mauck do because of him ?
I would rather Mitt was President than Obama. Mac was the weakest possible candidate we could have gotten.
So does Jim DeMint and Robert Bork. Romney is an ascendant guy.
I don’t respond to ambush questions. Certainly none that tasteless. Sorry.
Great response on your part there Mr. Bates.
Yeah, another season of Slim Pickens.
Yes, he turned Massachusetts around from the red to being in the black.
He also turned the Olympics around.
Wrong.
Massachusetts taxes, debts, population loss, population flight of young people all continued declining with out respite from his two years of Governorship.
We he left, thankfully, he left a one party state. All Democrat.
The Big Lie of the ‘save’ the Olympics was that his Utah( I won’t say Mormon ) greedhead elite friends bribed, hacked, corrupted to have the Olympics and profit personally, until it all went south dragging the bloated, ridiculous, time wasting circus with it. Mitt went and got one of the first Bailouts of a half billion, to pull a handful of elite Utah investors speculative scams out of the chestnut fire.
Nice.
Romney vetoed abortion legislation as governor. It wasn’t a quick flip. News flash: 1994 was over a decade ago - even in 2007.
>>why do you say that?<<
I agree with Red Romney got 20% in the straw vote and that’s about the percent of conservatives who support him - that does not a President make.
No, Slick Willard was the weakest possible major candidate. That’s why the media will be salivating to see him nominated in 2012. A Socialist con-artist with a horrible record and penchant for lying to our faces with absolutely no sense of shame. He’s despicable. The final solution to burying the national GOP just like he did to the Massachusetts GOP. Destroys everything he touches in the party, the ultimate Trojan Horse Democrat.
Here you go:
We have got to keep Crist out of the Senate seat that’s opening up here with Martinez leaving.
The same Rush that in the show most Romney bots point to as an endorsement of him said, “That (Romney) is not a Conservative?”
As much as I like Paul, I find it exceptionally unlikely he’ll run for President again. It’s jsut too hard on someone older than 70. Heck, it’s hard on someone younger than 70.
I’ll up you one. Using that logic, Reagan would be responsible for all abortions since 1992 because he appointed O’Connor and Kennedy who upheld Roe and defeated Casey.
Does it sound far-flung? That’s because it is.
