Limbaugh Rallies Conservatives to Find 'Right Candidate' (Romney wins CPAC straw poll)

Rush Limbaugh was 15 minutes early to the stage, but no one was complaining Saturday evening in Washington, D.C., at the Conservative Political Action Conference.
Quite the contrary. On the conference's third and final day, the conservative talk radio host was the headliner, and the crowd greeted him with an immense ovation.
"Ladies and gentleman, this is my first ever address to the nation," Limbaugh joked, noting that FOX News and C-SPAN were broadcasting the speech live.
Limbaugh then spent his first 15 minutes giving an impassioned summary of what it means to be a conservative before turning the focus to the movement's recent electoral record.
"We can take this country back. All we need is to nominate the right candidate," he said.
The speech was the culmination of an event that featured often fiery speeches by some of top names of the conservative movement and the Republican party, including former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee and conservative commendator Ann Coulter.

Rush is magnificent. The liberal media is going to be apoplectic over this speech. I love it!

Oh no, not this again. I voted for Romney, but we need to get behind Sarah Palin right now if we want to have any chance of winning in 2012. He is just too controversial among conservatives, even though 99% of what they say about him is pure bs

“Too bad Rush won’t run...”
You know, his “excuse” is he “couldn’t take the pay cut”, but with the way things are going, that excuse might not be a problem any longer! :)

That’s his toungue in cheek excuse. In reality, he’s far more influential as a radio host than he ever could be as a politician. In office, he can be voted out or term limited ... currently, he’s approaching his 20th year and he’s viable no matter what party is in power. In Congress he’d be but one of hundreds ... currently, he’s one in a million. In office, he’d have one vote — presently, he can exert influence over every conservative Congressman, Senator and Governor.

Rush’s address was Great, and they loved him.
Seeing some of those women at the conference though, I have to question the assertion some have made here that conservative women are always more attractive than liberal women.

Romney because we are going to need one heck of an economist to pull our country out of the mess that the dems are making.

But, he added, “It just breaks my heart that he has not used that extraordinary talent and gift to motivate and inspire the American people to be the best that they can be. He's doing just the opposite.”
Watch the movie Idiocracy and tell me it does not describe Obama and his followers. It is freekin scary! When the President of the US read from the teleprompter I laughed hysterically.

Romney? Bleeaaachh... Come on now, we need a REAL conservative.

Checked C-Span & Rush wasn't on. Neither did any local stations carry him.
Rush gave me a rush - he was great!
