Thanks for letting folks know that Rush's speech will be dittoed at 8 and 11 PM tonight on C-Spam.

When Rush mentioned the Tea Parties going on across the fruited plain he got a standing 0.

He was so pumped tonight that he was like Don Knotts on speed. I think that's why he was so damn good. His whole hosting career formed the content and his heart formed the passion.

I was on Twitter and there were many liberals spewing comments about how Rush was “scary” or how it was frightening to think that his message portrayed Conservatives’ actual beliefs. Their happy world of change, unicorns and rainbows was threatened by the idea of freedom and (true) personal responsibility. The rest of the comments centered around insults about his physical appearance and calling him an idiot. Others complained that they couldn’t understand why cable networks would even give him the airtime. They were riled up and it was fun to see.

I hate to be a wet blanket...but I just checked C-SPAN’s website...it looks like Rush’s speech has been pulled from the lineup...at least what they had posted previously, when I and others passed along the information.

Don’t know if it’s because of the length of his actual speech vs. the time alloted, or because D-SPIN didn’t like the content...for now I’ll give the benefit of the doubt and assume the former.
