Sure. The following is the 'tip of the iceberg'.
In fact, someone ought go back through Romney's history including at Harvard and see if this was SOP then.
Connect the dots......
Dan Gilgoff is a Romney supporter, fresh
off the bench and in to attack Gov. Palin this month, for backstabber Carpetbagger RINO Mitt Romney.
There are enough attacks against Gov. Palin that this effort is concerted (p < .0001)
Dan Gilgoff: "Bobby Jindal, Catholic, Draws the Same "Secret Muslim" Allegations That Haunted Obama"
February 24, 2009 - I'm surprised that a few comments on my post about Bobby Jindal as the new face of
Christian conservatism allege that he's got ancestral Muslim roots, in addition to the acknowledged
Hinduism of his Indian born parents.
Remind you of any other recent rumor campaigns against promising young minority politicians?
What's surprising is that some of the comments appear to be from pro-Sarah Palin conservatives."
BZZZZZZT: The Real Deal is otherwise.
Dan Gilgoff, May 8, 2007, "A seat at Romney's table"
"If the next Republican to occupy the White House must follow that same strategy,
Mitt Romney, former Massachusetts governor, may be in much better shape than polls suggest.
..At last week's debate, Romney went furthest in speaking the language of the Christian Right, ...
Romney's also meeting with evangelical leaders,
even sending them wooden chairs mounted with plaques declaring,
"You are welcome at our table anytime."
Gilgoff: "Bigoted Redneck Evangelicals Stopped the Nomination of Marvelous Mitt
.... Im so offended at the suggestion of Dan Gilgoff in USA Today
that the reason that Mitt Romney lost is because we Evangelicals just couldnt bring ourselves to vote for a Mormon.
Ive followed the national conversation among Conservative Christians about Mitt Romney.
Little of it centered on his Mormonism, much more on the fact of his shift on the issues."
Dan Gilgoff Romney propagandist: "("A Massachusetts Conservative," U.S. News & World Report, 2/12/07)
Romney ... (w)ith a Democratic-controlled state legislature, he managed to
balance the budget without raising taxes."
[Romney called the tax increases "fees", and even raised them in NH !!!]
Joe Scarborough is yet another Romney supporter,
in to attack Gov. Palin this month, for backstabber RINO Mitt Romney.
"Pat Buchanan asks Ziegler who were the main culprits in the media attack against Palin,
and Joe Scarborough interrupted Ziegler and would not let him answer!"
"Scarborough: Romney Won Debate"
"Mitt Romney Absolutely Dominated"
"Joe Scarborough losing more and more sleep over McCain
"John McCain is ruining Joe Scarboroughs life. Joe cant sleep or eat.
His man Romney is now showing 15 points behind McCain nationally.
Joe is sick over it. How could the good republicans of this nation vote for such a liberal.
He aims to do something about it. He doesnt know what yet, but dammit,
Romney is going to be President if he has his way about it. He knows the real Mitt.
He knows Mitt simply lied to get elected in MA. He doesnt know why he lied, and he doesnt care."
More dots...... Carol Platt Liebau is yet another Romney supporter,
in to attack Gov. Palin this month, for backstabber Carpetbagger RINO Mitt Romney.
"Mitt Romney has been the most consistently excellent debater overall in the two meetings of the Republican candidates.
He is personable, clearly well informed, incredibly well-funded, and surrounded by a crack staff.
All that, taken together, goes far to explain why his numbers in Iowa -- and elsewhere -- are looking better and better."
"But the other candidate who's very compelling is Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney."
Even more dots...... Douglas Kmiec is yet another Romney supporter from the Romney Keep,
in to attack on the GOP, for backstabber Carpetbagger RINO Mitt Romney.
"Romney supporter turned Obama man Douglas Kmiec indulged in quite a litany of name-calling,
finger pointing and demagoguery against the GOP that would have been amazing from the same man only one year ago.
Kmiec has shown that he no longer cares much how he is viewed, going full Democrat Partisan at this point."
"Kmiec was named by Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney
to head the Romney for President Committee on the Courts and the Constitution in 2007."
Surprise. Surprise. Connect the dots......
Cal Thomas is yet another Romney supporter,
in to attack Gov. Palin this month, for backstabber Carpetbagger RINO Mitt Romney.
"Cals Surprising Suggestion: I Wish The Palins Would Leave The Stage For Awhile"
"Romney obviously hopes that a growing number of Americans
accept the view of Cal Thomas, a popular journalist and an evangelical."
"Writing in his syndicated column, Cal Thomas commended Romney
for standing "on principle" and putting "more noble things ahead of self-interest." "
"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"
"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"
"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"
"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"
"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"
Similar to Romney's other scortched earth tactics:
Novak: "Fred Thompson drop-out rumors traced to Romney campaign"
Said Novak: "The rumors were traced in part to Mitt Romney's campaign,
trying to stir up strife between McCain and Thompson."
"Despite outspending his rivals by huge margins throughout the primaries,
(Mitt Romney, Carpetbagger UT,CA,MA,NH,Mexico) lost Iowa, South Carolina, Florida and California.
The only primaries he won were in Michigan, where Dad was governor; LDS states;
and a few states on Super Tuesday in which his California-obsessed rivals
couldn't spare the cash to advertise.
Only John Connolly in 1968 had a worse cash-to-delegates ratio.
And John McCain rightly did not like Romney's tactics during the primaries.
(W)hen (Romney's early leads) started slipping away, he resorted to unfair,
distorted, scorched-earth negative ads, betting that his opponents couldn't
afford to spend enough for the truth to catch up to his charges."

You didn’t answer my question.
Who is the pro-life candidate in the race?
If there isn’t one, does that mean you won’t vote?

You can NOT hold Romney responsible for everything any Romney supporter does.Actually, you can. I hold Obama responsible for all the liberal bloggers who attacked Sarah Palin. Why? Because he told them to not do it, they kept on going, and he remained silent. A nod is as good as a wink, they say.

No real policy argument, you just wont vote for a Mormon, even against Obama?Facts being such pesky things:
Mitt couldn't win against CONSERVATIVES, to even make it to the place of running against O'bama.

You're missing the point. Most attack Romney's *record*, which isn't at all conservative. Yeah, there are some who go after the Mormon thing, but very, very few of them here on FR.I've seen Romney's religion attacked more on FreeRepublic than I have seen at any other place.

Romney's one hellava big a liar. It takes a lot of something to tell a lie like that knowing the man is not around to defend himself. Then having your people go around for two years spreading the same lie with no thought of telling or even wanting to believe the truth.
I don't think much time goes by without somebody coming here spouting that particular lie. Here where people know Ronald Reagan. It makes me sick to my stomach. They have no idea how ignorant it makes them look or how repulsive they appear. If they aren't DU seminar people, they sure seem to be clueless as to what conservative means. They should at least take some responsibility and check their facts.
The whole situation was started by one gigantic liar. I don't know how Romney ever thought this lie would help him. It may have fooled some borderline conservatives but many Reagan conservatives I know are truly disgusted by it and will never vote for Romney now.

Who is the pro-life candidate in the race? Well, the CA Gov. race is just barely beginning. So trying to knock my pointing out of Willard's hypocrisy by setting up a strawman just isn't going to work, MittWitt.
If there isnt one, does that mean you wont vote?
Nope. Certainly I won't vote for anyone who's going to force me at gunpoint to pay for babies to be butchered.

Hi.
Tell us, since you know.
Romney won only 20% of the vote while being there,
with Romney twisting arms and by buy votes,
and don't forget that TeamROMNEY targetted the competitors fiercely this month (see above).
Gov. Palin won 13% and did not even show up.

Have you found it interesting that during the last election and now the majority of the Gov. Palin bashers
are Mitt supporters and Trolls.

There are no pro-life candidates in the race to my knowledge.
I’m not happy about it, but that’s the way it is.
The next question is do we sit on our rear ends and pout while the likes of Gavin Newsom or Jerry Brown gets elected in order to teach some mythical lesson that never gets taught or do we make do with what we’ve got.
The CA problem runs deeper than one person named Meg Whitman. The sad thing is, she is the most conservative person running.

Anyway I will not mention the name of that 3rd rate governor from that 3rd rate state because he has no chance of being POTUS. Not only is he NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN but he is a LOUSY speaker and he is GOOFY looking! SARAH PALIN 2012!
Actually, I am glad you are posting. Over the past few days there are those who claimed the anti-Jindal comments by Palin supporters were being done by Romney supporters in disguise. Thanks for disproving that myth.

Many have found it peculiar and beyond coincidence
that the dots in criticism of Gov.Palin often align
with the junior staff and agents of Romney (except for
Kmeic who was a senior staff and now vilifies the GOP for the Mittster).
