President Obama, in his weekly address to the country, said that getting the budget accepted would not come without a fight. And that there are strong lobbyist groups that will fight him on this. But he was elected to look out for the people. Finally the fighting words to the lobbyists: "Bring it On!"
Obama is acting like a schoolyard bully on this one, and it is particularly galling. He already has the votes! The lobbyists will not be able to stop any of it. Even if they peel away a few Democrats, the edge is overwhelming to pass this.
And futhermore, all lobbyists are not strong-arm men, as he implies. Most are generally there to protect the interests of their groups. Primarily to protect them from the oppressive federal government, or to make sure they're not left out when the government is deciding winners and losers.
Obama is like a 10-year old bully and his toughs telling a couple of six-year olds to "bring it on". There is no contest. The Administration and Congress can overwhelm any group of lobbyists. And besides, they have the most powerful lobbyists on their side - Teachers Unions, Labor Unions, Lawyers, Government Workers.
This is a sleazy attempt to make himself the defender of the "people" against powerful forces. Give me a break!
The hypocrisy and hubris is getting to be overwhelming.
By talking about lobbyists fighting Zero on the budget he hopes to link ‘lobbyists’ with any republican opposition.
He is only talking about Republican and Libertarian lobbies. Fair Tax, etc.

I agree. I am actually more optimistic than that, and I think this will collapse when it gets out what is being steamrolled over the “people”.

I think there will be an historic fight in the senate. There will be protesters outside the Capitol from both sides which could turn into a riot.
It becomes more obvious every day that the Obamassiah's vaunted intelligence quota is as mythical as his claim of birth in the United States. God help us, but don't bother praying for help for Obamassiah, he's beyond help if you ask me.

Freedoms first has recently received permission to hold our protest in Washington DC. Our protest will now be held at the lincoln Memorial Reflections Pool in front of the Lincoln memorial ,on a date that will be released on feb 12 2009.
We find this very interesting because just two weeks earlier Washington told us we could no protest in DC for at least a year and a half . But the day the spendulus bill passes we get a call from Washington inviting us with a choice of dates and locations. Folks we take this as a sign that our country if starting to realise the mistake they have made with putting Obama in office.
We will have live speakers and other entertainment for you.
WE would like to see 1 million supporters attend this protest. It is time to take our country back and make our voices heard.
Why are we protesting ?
1. To get the attention of the mainstream media.
2. To demand That Obama Provide proof that he is eligible to be president.
3. To demand that Congress and the Supreme court uphold our constitution.
4. To inform the public on the issue of Obama’s ineligibility to be president of the USA.

Dear Friends,
We are moving forward on our rally in Washington D C. We are working non stop in
preparations for this historical event to be held at the Washington Monument on Sept. 12th
and 13th of this year.
Almost a half a million people have signed up thus far. As for the time, The million man march that took place a few years age took over 2 years to organize, we are trying to push this through as fast as we can. To protest in DC you have to have a permit and have approval to use a certain piece of land.
We called ahead of filing for these things. September 12&13 were the next available days they had.
The other org resistnet.com which was putting together a march for May 30 didn’t do this so they were refused their permit now they are joining with our group. So, we are doing this the absolutely as soon we can.
As you well know, there are Monumental costs for this Monumental event.
We understand that your pockets are not as full as they were last year at this time. There
is little left after we pay our bills that enable us to survive these barren times.
You know what is coming next, The begging part for you to look solely in your hearts for
what we feel may be the most profound and important outcry for real American patriots.
The plans are bigger than you could ever imagine and to successfully pull such a large
event off, we need your presence, we need your help, we need your prayers, we need your
assistance and sadly we must humble ourselves and ask for you to dig down in those almost
empty pockets to help us have a successful rally.
We must get our money into the bank so it can begin to build with interest, so that we can
begin to order for the event as we must pay deposits on anything that we need.
WE ARE HOPING THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DONATE A MINIMUM OF $20.00 (anything more would be
greatly appreciated)
Some of our expenses are as follows.
1. Buses and shuttles will be provided to transport you from your hotels to the on site
rally.
2. Tents to provide shelter for our entertainers and guest speakers. First Aid Station
with an RN Nurse on duty along with an ambulance to be standing by for emergencies should
they arise. A tent for sale of T SHIRTS and assorted merchandise including Flags,(made in
America), hats and other memorabilia . What better way to remember this historical event.
A tent to store emergency water and other supplies should they be needed. A welcome tent
for you to pic up flyer’s with information of scheduled times for our speakers and
entertainment events and other important information including restaurants and areas of
interest, etc.
3. We are planning to have at least ONE THOUSAND porta potties.
4. Accounting fees and set up fees so we have full disclosure of where all donations go.
5. On hand funds to pay for those things we know we surely will forget and the need to be
able to pick them up quickly without worry of where we are going to get the money from .
6. Newspaper adds and notices about our march, and other publicity costs for this event.
7. Printing costs, signs, etc.
8. We must hire additional security other than the security provided by the park police.
We want this to be safe for you and your family .
WE NEED YOUR HELP SO WE CAN DO THIS. SO WE CAN BE PROUD OF HOW WE DID IT.. SO WE CAN
PRESENT THE VISUAL OF MILLIONS COMING TOGETHER.

Brad that is what is astounding to me. I live here in Central Gardens, a nice street, I know there are some wealthy people on this street and others like me who are middle class whatever that may be. This street was loaded with obama signs. I wonder will how do these folks feel about supporting the bums.
