McCain, a lifelong opponent of earmarks, released his list of the top ten porkiest projects in the Omnibus Spending bill the Congress is about to pass. Did he hold a press conference or release a statement to the press? No, instead, he went to the new mediabut not Facebook or Youtube. He choose the new rising star in social media, Twitter. He merely made a tweet yesterday that began with Tmr I am gonna tweet the TOP TEN PORKIEST PROJECTS in the Omnibus Spending bill the Congress is about to pass. And his 110,000 followers were instantly alerted, who in turn most likely passed it on to millions of their followers within minutes.
And today he released them. Here is John McCains Top 10 Porkiest Projects list:

LOL! The MSM said he didn’t use a computer. I don’t even twitter...whatever that is.
alt headline: “Twit uses Twitter”
~~~snicker~~~
“McCain, a lifelong opponent of earmarks,”
What a joke this guy is............
He endorsed TARP 1 on the drop of a hat.
He tried to pass a disaster of bill with Ted Kennedy on Immigration.
Go Back to SLEEP .........”MCSTOOGE”! YOU are an EARMARK!
Move to Mexico where you belong!
Is that why McCain ran back to DC to vote for the first bailout last fall? Maybe he can twitter that
As I wrote on the other thread on this topic, here are my top three pork projects:
1. The entire department of education
2. The entire commerce department
3. The entire energy department.
Zero them out and youve made a good start. McCain the piker is sweating the small stuff.
Show some respect. It’s John McCain. Leader of the twitter revolution, DAMMIT!
Look when the Senile old Fart calls Children of an Invading Army “Gods Children” He needs to leave the Country.
LOL This is how a perfectly good keyboard eventually gets worn, when I waste coffee spewing it uncontrollably laughing at something I read on Freep. (Is that less than 170 characters?)
Honestly, I am trying to get the hang of this trend toward minimalism. (A fat lot of good it did the Japanese!)
I can see where it would have an idea attractiveness to a Congressman, or a State legislature. Very few of them have the attention spans of circus monkeys.
Ol’ John has them all atwitter. So bipartisan. So techno-savvy. Such a hipster. Why, that’s exactly the sort of Senator we need, lol.
Same happens to me... luckily I work where keyboards are replaced so often no one notices when I switch out one coffeed keyboard one for another.
And just how did John McCain, famous for not even writing his own e-mails, acquire 110,000 people for his little Tweet?
Those are all the leftover McCain.com trolls he still owes coffee mugs and t-shirts to. He's gotta keep his base happy somehow.
Mccain, what happened to your promise of naming names and making them famous
I would like to try my hand at beaver management. I would volunteer my services so the $650,000 can be used for other purposes. Matter of fact, this project would easily be staffed by volunteers!
McCain is right. There is no need for the disbursement of funds.
McCain=Credibility Zero.
Isn’t he the same guy who doesn’t know how to email messages?
McCain twitters? Twitter is just about right for him and his “style”.
Wouldn’t his admirers in the media give him a microphone and camera to make these complaints about the ripoffs?
He’s reportedly unable to type, due to injuries received while he was a POW.
