NYC Tea Party, Saturday, Feb. 28, 2 PM, City Hall Park
Facebook Event Invitation

Posted on 02/28/2009 5:07:45 AM PST by samsmom

NYC, a liberal stronghold--wouldn't it be great if we had a massive turnout! Let's get out there.

We say NO to our government's ridiculous spending and our nationwide Tea Parties are a defiant show of unity and protest.

2PM, Saturday Feb. 28th, City Hall Park in Manhattan. Let's make our voice heard NYC!

Agenda:

We are protesting the irresponsibility of the government's spending and also Obama's desire for $300 billion more.

2:00pm start time: Organizers comments

2:10pm: Confirmed speakers and anyone from the crowd who wishes to address everyone.

2:45pm: Closing statements, press interviews

3:00pm: End. Then head to a bar for some college basketball, drinks and food.

Because NYC and D.C. are the only places that count in the world of the msm, it would be FABULOUS to see a large turnout for this particular Tea Party. Enlist your friends and relatives who want to hold on to their children’s inheritance and not have the government take it in taxes to buy votes. We may not have long to express opposition to the Marxists who are just beginning to flex their muscles.

The dems have a short window to do this until the reality of the stimulus failure becomes painfully clear to all Obama supporters.

I’m up and about, trying to get some things done so that I will be able to be there this afternoon.

It will be cool and dry today, so weather wont be a concern.

I will be there. Hopefully the beginning of a movement that will someday bring sanity and responsibility back to our country.

I’m considering going but need to keep a low profile due to my profession.

What’s the anticipated turnout?

Note to those just pinged. Islander7 and I have hurriedly cobbled together a list of FReepers for the Tea Party ping list. If you are mistakenly included on this list, we apologize. Please advise and we will remove you.

If anyone knows of FReeper that should be added, also advise.
