It was a wonderful day, slightly cloudy, about 45 degrees, and with less than 4 days notice over 175 people showed up for a rally to protest against Barak Obama's economic policies.
It was a proud day, with Freepers Biggirl, Libertarian27, Myself and others present during their lunch hours, proudly in front of the state capital
Members of GOE were there, also, seeing Skip fro Connecticut also.
Most of the faces were people who never did any sort of this ever before, and they are MAD AS HELL, And they ARENT going to take it anymore!
Pictures to follow and a link to video coming, also.

So, what exactly is going to be different in your life now?
Aside from comic relief, what purpose do these protests serve?

It’s good to know that there are a lot of normal, clear-thinking people left in the USA. We need rallies in every state capital to show that we’ve had it!

What a GREAT RALLY!!!
On very short notice and on a weekday we had tremendous attendance.
Lots of honking horns in agreement with our signs.

"Authorities believe a bullet that slammed into the Lawrence city planners desk last weekend may be related the recent layoffs of 11 city employees and the firing of two others." Interesting, if true - that the first shots fired are from "civil servants" yanked from the public teat...

They draw attention to the cause. You jump straight into asking folks to show up armed for a revolt and you’re going to feel a bit like Custer did when the Indians just kept coming over the hill in waves...
