U.S. will not attend U.N. conference on racism

The United States will not attend a United Nations conference on racism that critics say will be a forum to criticize Israel and will no longer attend planning sessions for it, a U.S. official said on Friday.

"We will not attend," the official said.

A U.S. delegation attended consultations earlier this month on the World Conference Against Racism, scheduled for April in Geneva, Switzerland, although Israel has called for a boycott and Canada has said it will not attend.

The US should get out of the UN, etc. - any world organization that we spend billions of dollars supporting and get zero bang for our bucks. These organization member countries hate the US (most but not all of them) and we would be doing ourselves and our country by abandoning them and leaving these jerk countries to their own devices and let them fund their own pitiful countries themselves which are mostly socialist and communist puppet states led by unelected tyrants despoys and dictators.

The UN was gathered the week before 9-11-2001 to denounce slavery in the United States (over a century and a half after the fact) and Israel.

Come tho think of it, America will not have the money for much aid after Obama's spending spree...we'll be broke so these Socialist/Communist and Dictator led countries will have to fend for themselves....not a bad thought and we should not pay the UN more than we can afford if we pay them at all.
