I called this when I saw that Super Bowl commercial. Hope I’m wrong...
Such a great talent, but it sounds like he had poor business sense which could lead to his wife eventually living on welfare or a small SS check.
Heard about this on the radio a half hour ago. They said he had been in the hospital for a month. ???
Well at least he’s got somewhere to sleep at night now. Hope he’s well.
He turns 86 a week from today.
I wouldn’t say he was a great talent, but he seems like a nice enough guy. Prayers for him and his family.
P.S. - His wife couldn’t get a job??? Isn’t she nearly half his age? Just curious....
I’m sure the stress over his financial matters has hastened his decline. Wouldn’t it be a much better world if people would make it a priority to try to solve money problems and other similar hassles without stressing out the people involved?
When Ed got desperate for cash to save his million dollar home, he sued the last doctors and hospital that treated him.
I hope he gets the shitty treatment he deserves.
He had also suffered a significant spinal injury and was suing the hospital over it.
My mother passed away in January from pneumonia. She was 97, and it hits the elderly much harder than younger people. The doctor who treated her in the hospital said that when someone of her age gets it it usually ends their life unless they are exceptionally strong and healthy before they get it. McMahon isn't 97, but 85 is elderly enough for him to be at serious risk.
“After college, McMahon was re-activated into active Marine duty. He was sent to Korea in February 1953. He flew unarmed O-1E Bird Dogs on eighty-five tactical air control and artillery spotting missions. He remained in the Marine reserves, retiring with the rank of Colonel in 1966 and was then commissioned as a Brigadier General in the California Air National Guard.”
He extended himself too much, and I believe it was to please his wives...who may have been poor choices, too.
He built (or bought) this monster house that had terrible problems. I think Trump took over the mortgage...or something like that. A sad ending for a man who worked so hard all of his life.

Ed tended to get so full of himself as the show went on, but I thank him for many hours of entertainment value. Johnny was the Master and Ed was pretty good as a sidekick.
Praying for Mr McMahon
At one point his wife had an American Express tab of around $900,000, I heard.
Let her live on yard sales.
Hate to hear that. Prayers for him and his family.
