According to recovery.gov the largest chunk of the recovery plan ($288 Billion) is dedicated to Tax Relief. However upon further examination, there is no obvious line item for tax relief, and even worse half of this category is dedicated to "Protecting the Vulnerable".

According to the following chart from recovery.gov, the largest chunk of the recovery plan ($288 Billion) is dedicated to Tax Relief:

However I have given myself a major league migraine looking for it in the itemized (but colorful) graph:

But not even the pretty pastels for each category bubble can calm me down when I see that the fine print states 142 Billion of the "Tax Relief" is for "Protecting the Vulnerable" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just what in the hell do they mean by this ? We all know, the unborn are of course the most vulnerable, and not one red (Freudian slip) in the recovery act is dedicated to protecting them, so what does Obama mean, and how can protecting anything other than your personal wealth be considered a tax cut ?

“Protecting the Vulnerable” means providing taxpayer funded handouts to those vulnerable to working.

Believe it or not, Obama, Pelosi, et al, are claiming that passing legislation delaying, yet again, the Alternative Minimum Tax day of reckoning for millions of middle class Americans, is a tax cut.

In other words they are claiming a tax cut for taxes that have never been enacted and SHOULD NEVER BE ENACTED!

Yeah, this is just more of the transfer of the wealth process. One of my biggest objections is the fact that the Gov’t decides who is “Vulnerable” and has additional, unlimited discretion in deciding the recipients instead of the market. Add to this the Gov’t “Handling Fee” (AKA waste, fraud and abuse) and it is truly scary.

Further intrusion, in the form of ‘Cap and Trade’ on Greenhouse Gases is part and parcel of this control. There, the Gov’t will also have virtual unlimited discretion to, in essence, tax producers and, by their statements, distribute 80% of the proceeds to lower income segments as an offset to the higher prices that will ensue for all things. Again, the Gov’t decides who and how much to both tax and reward.

When does this S**t stop. They've got the Banks, the Automakers, the Healthcare Sector, The Wealthy, Energy and vortually every other form of Interstate Commerce under their thumb, picking winners and losers, and they want even more.

I do not think even those who voted for Obama and the Dems have any idea how much power they have ceded to the Gov’t. And this in just 30 days!
