Why stop at photographing the outside ?
Why not let the media peek inside the caskets ?

The media ghouls and their Master, Hussein Obama are no different than Fred Phelps.

I am sure with Obama’s scorn of the military, he’ll have no problem with military coffins.

Hey, one less Republican voter. One less patriot.

I think the man is psychotic.

I’m aware of the fact that the left will use anything against us as a country - the left hates America no news there.

I don’t see this helping him. After all, he is Commander in Chief.

Those are his bodies now.

""It is my understanding that this can only be done with the permission of the family. It’s still not right though."

Two words....Cindy Shehan"

The press release that I read leaves a tremendous number of questions unanswered. Exactly how are they going to enforce this?

When you have four or five bodies returning at the same time, who's responsibility will it be to only allow the media to photograph the one soldier's body that the family gave permission for. Of course, this is assuming that one family did indeed give permission.

Very sketchy so far.

"I think the man is psychotic."

Don't forget "classic narcissist with deep seeded abandonment issues."

Hey, if the MSM and the left can psycho-analyze Bush for eight years, it's only fair that we do the same to Barry.

Don’t blame me, I voted for Sarah Palin as did the rest of my family.

Of course, ACORN disenfranchised all of us.

Stupid headline.

Are they going to take them out of the caskets to photograph them?

Obama’s immediate goal is to undermine the cultural foundations of the country at the same time that he destroys the economic foundations.

They have moved beyond the culture of victimization to the culture of antisubordination. Antisubordination means turning the tables. The Black culture now rules, whites are the serfs.

Official: Pentagon allows coverage of war coffins

WASHINGTON (CNN) — The Pentagon lifted its ban Thursday on media coverage of coffins of war victims as they arrive at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware, according to a senior U.S. defense official with direct knowledge of the decision.

The coverage must be approved by families.

Some families have said they want the return of their family members’ remains to be private, Pentagon officials say.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates is to announce the policy change at a news conference at 2 p.m. ET, the senior official said.

Gates ordered a review of the policy after President Obama asked for more information on the Pentagon’s longstanding policy of barring media from viewing the coffins as they come into the base.

Agreed, I do also believe that it is far more equitable to let each individual family decide(nothwithstanding the inevitable family squabbles that will arise) instead of some Fedzilla diktat barring the families from having any say in the matter, as was the Bush policy.

Those that paid the ultimate price are brought home with dignity and honor.

IMHO without permission this invades that private moment and is no different than those nardowell groups that attend the funerals of our troops.

Everything scared Reagan GWB worked for and all conservatives has been thwarted by exective orders in 2 months.

I cannot tell you the anger and commonality that something is really wrong and going to a bad place, from friends I speak to around the country. G_d help us......
