I remember before 1968 when people were so poor they would go to the hardware store and buy three or four rounds for hunting.
Buying more at lunch. Even if the only thing on the shelves is .22LR. Even that will be a commodity when the shooting starts.
easily fixed. A few of your rounds can harvest quite a few JBT rounds/magazines if you select your weapon carefully for commonality with theirs.
I agree. They realize that any further “ban” would backfire on them.
However, watch what’s happening with ammo importation, coded ammo and excessive taxes... to protect the children.
Current prices for cheap domestic rifle rounds, without excess taxes, are about $20-$25 for a box of 20. 200 round packs of quality imports are available for about $80... about 1/3 the cost.
