Rights groups see broken 'commitment' on illegals policy
Immigrant rights groups blasted President Obama on Wednesday for breaking what they called his "personal commitment" to change Bush-era immigration raids after U.S. authorities raided an engine machine shop in Washington state and detained illegal immigrants.
The Obama administration itself seemed taken aback by the raid by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, with Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano vowing to Congress that she would "get to the bottom of this."

‘Bush-era immigration raids’
Lol.
Lol.
Yeah, that's comedy gold right there.
Wow! Janet Napolitano intends to “get to the bottom” of her law enforcement ageny ENFORCING the law. Imagine THAT!
She could not even find her bottom.
Yes, we can't have any enforcing of immigration laws now, can we. DHS, as Janet said the other day, will now used almost exclusively for relief after "Katrina-type" disasters.
At least Zero's socialst government doesn't live on mordida....the zeroistas wouldn't like having to pay under the table to get their lights turned on, or having to pay a percentage to get their welfare check....
0’s “personal commitment” is trumped by his oath to protect and defend the Constitution.
every where i go in socal,
there are illegals standing by the roadsides waiting for work:
any u-haul, home depot, or lowes parking lot.
At great risk to my sustained employment with DHS, I have to tell someone about the latest directive regarding fugitive aliens. As per Janet, we have been ordered to target only criminal fugitive aliens in all future operations. The only problem is that nearly all criminal aliens are held in custody until their removal. The aliens that are allowed to post bond and released are almost never serious criminal aliens. That doesn’t take into account those aliens released by state prisons, county or local jails despite having a detainer on file or the ones that we happen to miss because they are not locked up, only cited and released on the street. Definitely not good for us. Looks like an amnesty is just around the corner.
How many people would be upset if they checked EVERYONES citizenship in order to avoid the so-called profilling? I would be fine with that...I know who wouldn`t...and they would be on the buses. Why don`t we all CRY OUT that when we break a law and get put in jail, THEY ARE BREAKING UP OUR FAMILIES!!!! As a matter of fact, we are REUNITING THEM WITH THE FAMILY THEY LEFT!!! Case in point: That %$#@@!#$ who is holed up in the chicago church while HER MOTHER takes care of HER THREE KIDS IN MEXICO!! She left her family. Is the church now sending money to her kids in mexico???
“Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano vowing to Congress that she would “get to the bottom of this.”....
Yaeh!...you get to the bottom of this, Nimrod!
No risk for you — I heard about the exact same directive on Glenn Beck’s show the other day. ...from whom, I forgot.
Yep, amnesty for at least 20 million illegals AND their families is in our near future. ‘Rat voter reg. will be going through the roof. Hard to imagine them losing another election after that.
We should start doing this: I go to jail for a few days..my family and friends PROTESTS in front of the courthouse saying how my family should not be broken up...enough of us doing this all over the country will get media and they will say “But he broke the law!” So the latinos want to protest violent illegals being arrested and deported...Hell, pick somebody in jail on a stupid charge and start protesting for their release!!!
I have to conclude from this that illegal immigrants are more important to the Democrats than U.S. citizens.
And to some Republicans as well. ....specifically, McCain and Graham.
“every where i go in socal, there are illegals standing by the roadsides waiting for work: any u-haul, home depot, or lowes parking lot.”
That’s why we left Kalifornia........ And we never looked back!
It must be great fun for a conservative working at DHS. I don’t envy you.
I live in Az. and boy, I’m glad she’s gone. Problem is the Republicans who opposed her cameras every ten feet on the freeway won’t get rid of them now that they are in power. They only oppose things when they can’t do anything about it.
Ping!
Poor ‘rights’ groups...they must think they won, or something.
