WASHINGTON – Hoping the third time will be the charm, President Barack Obama named former Washington Gov. Gary Locke as his nominee for Commerce secretary Wednesday.
"I'm sure it's not lost on anyone that we've tried this a couple of times. But I'm a big believer in keeping at something until you get it right," Obama said, standing with the fellow Democrat in the Indian Treaty Room at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building near the White House.

Maybe my memory is bad, or he just grates on me more than most, but I don’t recall other Presidents speechifying on tv every single day.
I just want to turn on the TV & NOT see his face or hear his voice - enough is enough.....

Judd Gregg (who was picked so that the Obamasiah could claim he was reaching out to Republicans) said no thank you to being the whipping boy for this Socialist.
Now, the Obamasiah has picked yet another socialist democrat to join his team. I think the Judd Gregg nominee was window dressing and Obamasiah knew along along that Gregg would withdraw given the untenuous demands placed upon him.

Zero has to get on t.v. everyday and speechify. He has to make sure the hypnotic spell doesn’t wear off. Zero has to remain in the campaign mode so he can win in 2012.
He’s a tax & spend politician. He’s first term as governor, like obozo touted being the first black prez, Locke touted he was the first Chinese gov. Locke in his 1st term as gov when WA state had $21 billion in revenues and $23 billion in expenses raised the budget $24 billion through taxation but come out publicly saying, “we have a good budget and we didn’t raise taxes”, a bare-faced lie. And the people ate it up. He also raised the gasoline tax by $.05 and lied through his teeth saying it would be recovered in 10 years but his own people put out the real report saying that the gasoline tax wouldn’t be recoverable for over 30 years. The voters previously said no to a $.09 gasoline tax. Locke also authorized signs that said, “It’s your nickel watch it work.” Plus, he wasn’t in office a month before he & his wife and family and who know who else took a taxpaying trip to China “to recover and renew his roots.” Nevermind that he already previously worked in the demoncRAT administration and could have taken the trip at his own expense. Guess he and his wife Mona and increased family are ready for another trip at taxpayers expense. Oh yeah, Locke is a real winner for obozo with his constant lying and spending.
