They finally posted this on Thomas and the GPO websites.
The PDF version is at http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/getdoc.cgi?dbname=111_cong_bills&docid=f:h1105ih.txt.pdf
And the THOMAS version is at http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c111:H.R.1105:
This is the $400-$500 Billion bill that funds all of the federal government for Fiscal Year 2009. It will be passed and signed into law no later than March 6, 2009.
Nice of them to finally show us what's in it.
Post any pork medallions you find here.
Good grief!
Oh here we go again
I was just going to ask if there were any “tiny porky things” in it and read your comment about the medallions.
One thing no one can deny, there are some very funny folks who post on FR. And I do appreciate the laughs.
More slop for the trough. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOIEEEEEEEE PIG!!

In theory, those explanatory statements will disclose any and all "earmarks" requested by members.
Whew! It’s ONLY 1,122 pages long!
Is this the bill with 9000 earmarks?
Thought you might want to see the actual bill.
Here is the prelude thread from yesterday:
A lot of the pork is exposed in that thread.House Dems Propose $410B Spending Bill (Here's More!)
Yet another BOHICA moment, brought to you by the socialists in Washington, DC.
I don’t suppose any of the political elite will read this one, either...

[Blah, blah, blah...]
Also, why not change the national motto to:
E Porkibus Unum.
Logo ideas & suggestions are welcome!
This bill BY LAW was due out before the start of the current fiscal year, Oct. 31, 2008. This bill is for the current fiscal year. What a crock.
House calendar:
January 6 111th Congress, 1st Session convenes
January 19 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
January 20 Inauguration Day
January 29-31 Republican Conference Issues Conference
February 5-7 Democtratic Caucus Issues Conference
February 16 Presidents Day
February 16 - 20 Presidents Day District Work Period
It’s been only 49 days since the house convened; only 38 of those WEEKDAYS.
About 30 days minus the federal holidays and back in districts....
Minus 6 days where the dems/reps were out at their retreats.
So in 24 workdays, we’re on House Bill # 1105!
46 bills filed per day for the 111th congress, and unlimited bills to pay for the 21st century Americans.

Maybe I missed something, but what F#@%-ing $410 billion bill is this ????
1010RD wrote (at http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2192740/posts#22):And Pelosi and the Dems promised a list of earmarks available online. And the Senate rules require the bill be available online for 48 hours before they vote on it.
President Obama will post it for five days for all Americans to see before he signs it.Barak promised us that.
This is an extreme emergency. Don't you understand. The government will shut down on March 6 if this isn't passed and the President doesn't sign this before that deadline.
Obama only promised to post Non-Emergency bills online for 5 days.
And his exact promise was:
From http://www.barackobama.com/issues/ethics/#earmarksRemember, we're dealing with Democrats here. Like the Clintons. He never said he'd allow us to review and comment before he signs the bill. If he signs it, and it's not an emergency, and then he puts it up for five days, that might live up to the letter of his promise.
Sunlight Before Signing: Too often bills are rushed through Congress and to the president before the public has the opportunity to review them. As president, Obama will not sign any non-emergency bill without giving the American public an opportunity to review and comment on the White House website for five days.
Last I heard, there were 9,000 pork projects in it.
Though I honestly do have to admit, the $2 million for astronomy in Hawaii isn’t a bad thing, if they indeed use it for astronomy. I figure for a conservatory.
$472,000,000.
