Why?
Whoa!!!
Spel czeck shold bee mi frend.
Oye!
I’d venture to guess that this Army officer can think for himself.
That poor guy is going to be assigned to sand grain inventory on Palmyra Island, (4.6 sq. miles, half way between Hawaii and American Samoa), for the rest of his career, even if he re-enlists....
He probably wasn’t destined to be Chief of Staff anyway.
ping, may be interesting to see what happens to Lt Easterling.
Ping sandrat, sorry old sarge, pinged the wrong person.. Don’t worry about scratching your head why I pinged you, my bad..
Agreed!
No problem - it’s interesting to read how Lt. Easterling is committing suicide with his future...
You should see what happened when they first called for active duty personnel to join the lawsuit and Sandrat and myself made the mistake(sic) of suggesting they contact their JAG for advice prior to signing on.. You would think we where defending Bambi.
It's called an OER (Officer Evaluation Report), and this is the bureaucratic equivalent of seppuku.
We will grumble in the barracks. We will commiserate in the bars. We will speak in hushed tones on the range.
We will find ways to vent our feelings.
But no serving soldier will mutiny against The One (piss be upon him). American troops don’t mutiny. Leftist civilians mutiny. We don’t; that’s called treason.
Our point wasn’t even the mutiny part, much simpler, it was simply to make sure that your legal basis where covered prior to signing ANY legal document.
Thanks, Sarge. We called them fitreps in the USN, and it would be the bureaucratic equivalent of jumping overboard in shark-infested waters.
I believe that too.
They may hold show elections. But ACORN with their vote fraud will neutralize our voices.
IMO, it appears Lt. Easterling is putting the Constitution and our Country ahead of his personal future.
Sounds an aweful like those who 'dared' sign a Declaration of Independence back in 1776.
Let me remind you all that the Second Amendment (right to bear arms) is so that you can get redress when your government stops performing as the Constitution directs it to. You may topple the current Government but that should be within the framework of the Declaration Of Independence and the Constitution.
Luckily for this guy he is only a 1LT. Pressure can still come from above, but at least his selection for promotion happens far below the cabinet level (if I remember my officer promotions right).
You’d be surpised at the stupidity or naïveté of many people. Then again, maybe not.
