It’s a big country. We can’t stop all accidental discharges, domestic violence, drunk driving, premature... Well, anyway, there are hundreds of millions of people, including many who don’t want to think about consequences and/or can’t control themselves.

Make our country perfect with respect to various bad things that happen, and you’ll have a very tightly controlled communist country. In other words, utopia is not going to happen.

Promoting old fashioned morality will get us as close as we can get to being happy, safe, and all of that. Social and business interactions were probably about the best that they will ever be for us, as a national populace, during the early 1960s.

The very last place I ever want to find myself is near cops with their gun out. When I find myself in such a place I immediately put two bullet travel diameters between me and them. Cops and guns are a bad mix. If you want cops to be safer take the guns away from them. Friendly fire is the second or third way cops die.

I really do find these types of threads comical. It allows all the cop haters to come out of the woodwork and air their grievances. Are we really still prefacing articles with this years old instance?

That was a hilarious youtube video. What was amazing was that he was able to carry on and attempt to give the class after being shot in the foot. The funniest part is at the end, when he attempts to bring out the semi auto carbine (not sure what the rifle is) and the whole class gets nervous and someone in the classroom says “put it down!!!”
