President Barack Obama is doing the right thing to deal with the recession but could express more optimism on the U.S. economy's recovery, Bill Clinton said.
"I view the stimulus plan as a bridge over troubled water. I think it's absolutely the right thing to do," former President Clinton said during an interview aired Friday on ABC's "Good Morning America."
Clinton gives the Obama administration an "A" so far and says the "hope index" was a "nine-plus" on a scale of one to 10, with 10 being 100 percent confidence the U.S. economy will emerge prosperous.
Noting that he is a fiscal conservative, Clinton said Obama "has no choice" but to use the $787 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. "The economy is contracting. He has to prop it up."
Clinton said Americans don't need to hear "inane happy talk
Rest of article:
or false promises” when Obama speaks about the economy, but “I just would like him to end by saying that he is hopeful and completely convinced we’re going to come through this.”
That’s “A” as in arrogant, abomination, and a**hole.
Well, uhh...you know, uhhh....Bill has never lied about anything, has he ?
Can I get some of what Bill is smoking?
“and says the “hope index” was a “nine-plus” .................................. Yeah, one thing they got plenty of is Hope.
Well, since most of his former administration, including his wife, are working for Barry, what do you expect Der Slickmeister to say?
Please make it stop.
?
Aren’t ex-presidents supposed to wait 100 days before they start talking about the current presidents? good or bad?
Just more of the no-class clintons doing what they do best.
yeah, and the birds go tweet.
BJ’s always had an interest in ‘A’s
Ack! Please put a “breakfast bagel expeller” warning label on such photos!
He “gets a” what?
My guess is that he gets a chance to be the scapegoat for 50 years of overspending.
He also gets a chance to dislodge Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton from next to last place and last place, as the worst president in US history.
Maybe he even gets a chance to get impeached *and* convicted.
Why don’t Clinton and the Hildebeast just go away...
And now you see why Bill didn’t spend a lot of time teaching law.
Translation: The cash register is ringing at the clinton foundation.
My wish also. If only the Clintons would go away! Such sociopaths and inept liars.
Great point there. I agree with that definition.
