The American people have never been able to understand the concept of “bait and switch”. I guess they are too poor to understand.

Star Traveler is an obamabot troll.

Whatever posts that moron makes that seem to be conservative are merely a ruse to give cover to his mole status.

I don’t know how he expects money to flow if we don’t have anything left over after being taxed till we’re hurting, then you add in the new greenhouse gas. Our heating costs are really high already. Forget buying any extras, we’re working just to survive.

President Barack Obama will allow tax breaks given to wealthier Americans under his predecessor, George W. Bush, to expire as scheduled rather than eliminate them sooner, an administration official said on Saturday.

At the rate they are destroying the economy this bunch will have to make this tax hike retroactive to all those who got a tax cut under George W. Bush. They apparently have figured out the fast track to make US a third world nation. And they are having the 'party' of their lives getting up each day flipping US off again and again.

To do a whole bunch of “protesting” that is not going to get anywhere (as opposed to certain high-profile and critical items) is to make yourself a “fringer” and not get hardly anything done (except complaining...).

Hmmmmm, Sanford Rebuts Democrat Governors: "The real fringe are those supporting the stimulus

Saving American: Time to hit the streets? (Senator Jim DeMint Call to Action!)

.........""People don't need to look to Washington. It's the people's government. And the people are going to have to take it back. They can do it with their voices and with their votes -- and they may have to do it with their legs. People are going to have to show that they're not going to take it anymore." ......

Star Traveler, it's such a shame that you discourage conservatives from protesting. Conservatives are not natural protesters....they/we need to start now, get more experience, grow our numbers.

You don’t know anything about me. Besides, increasing taxes on “the wealthy” will impact everyone....while the minimal tax credits he provides through payrolls will nary make a dent.

“I make less than $150,000 per year, and if the Bush tax cuts expire I will be paying over $3000 more per year in Fed income taxes. He’s lying when he says it will only affect people making more than $250,000.”

Why should he stop lying? It works so well for him.

I think everyone is a little jittery these days, LOL!

Mainly, the fact that he’s going to let them expire bodes darkly for the future. When things are totally in the tank in the future, and then on TOP of it, the tax cuts that have helped so many are allowed to expire...that’s really going to put the final nail in the economy’s coffin.

Which is his plan, obviously. Then the REAL wealth redistribution can start...with what’s left, that is. ; )

You are a brave man. I’m waiting for warmer weather to go with some choice T-shirts.

But on a vehicle here in NJ, where so many Obamunists dwell is not practical. Not just yet anyway.

Your second sticker will only engender anger as most Americans are not that well read on all the particulars going on in government (the media likes it that way) and are still in the hopeful phase of a presidential term, regardless of whether they voted for the fraud or not.

But yes, your free speech rights are yours absolutely.

Let’s see, increase taxes on productive citizens and businesses, push through a $300 billion carbon tax, and dow falls 500 points Monday. Gold shoots to $1,200 Monday - $1,400 by week’s end.

“Forget buying any extras, we’re working just to survive.”

And it’s going to get worse before it gets better. :(

A friend and I were talking about the whole scenario yesterday. She and I are trying to find positives in having a Socialist as President.

Our HOPE is that people will go back to the basics; God, Family, Faith, Community, etc.

Maybe some good WILL come of this? Maybe this is the kick in the pants we’ve needed?

I haven't read through all the posts yet, so this might have already been mentioned. If the outrageous corruption continues to be displayed in the Ø administration and Congress, we just might have a Republican House and/or Senate in 2010. It's a long-shot, but just might mitigate a cataclysmic tax increase.

We are talking about an incompetent buffoon handing out taxpayer funds to every liberal with a tin-cup in hand like a drunken monkey. This is throwing gas on the fire and either he is too stupid to know it or it is by intention. If he continues down this road of pretending he is doing something positive expect more of this: New Hampshire fired the first shot. Although 7 other states have similar pending resolutions and bills, Oklahoma is the first to actually pass one. Another 27 states are expected to make similar moves in the coming months. That’ll leave the country split 71-29. Now, before you get too excited, bear in mind that all of this was likely Obama’s goal. Boiled down, all of these state-measures are threats of secession.
