Do I properly understand what this liberal fool is suggesting? Is he proposing that financially successful and prudent citizens fork over their money into a fund to pay off thugs who are would otherwise riot in the streets? Isn’t that the definition of a protection racket?

Obama is a ‘tard but he at least knows the muslime culture. He has said that he will support Islam over any American policy. This dumba** is not very cerebral however and has not localized his knowledge of cultures. He, like many muslims, thinks of Islam in global terms.

They were so smart that during a time of economic growth they orchestrated the overthrow of the Shah of Iran. While this guy was not perfect he was leaning toward policies that would enable his people to grow economically.
The Shah was replaced by Khomeni who immediately implemented agrarian laws and suppressive regulations such as how women could dress. There were immediate riots and in protest, during this time the American Embassy was stormed and American were taken as hostages. They were held for over a year. This by a nation and former friend of the United States!
These dicks, Jimmuh and Brez, were so smart they couldn't see that Iraq and Obama’s distant cousin, Saddam Hussein was an aggressive expantionist. They attacked Iran in 1980 sensing they would be to weak and that led to an 8 year war.

Ok, here's a proposal I've made. Whenever I've posted it or sent it to radio hosts, it has never been commented on as an "economic" proposal (I get anti-Obama type comments.). Please fellow FREEPERS, criticize this from an economic viewpoint. Also, would it make a good Conservative proposal for economic recovery?

I agree. Rebates that are saved ARE a problem.
A Better Idea: Utilize the people working and paying taxes to correct the economy, and reward them for creating jobs for the rest of America: (The numbers, percentages cited below can be altered, after deeper analysis, to achieve the best result. Minimum product value, country of origin, and/or minimum purchase price could also be introduced.):
- Everyone who paid taxes last year receives a "50% Match DEBIT CARD" for the amount of Federal Income taxes paid last year. (example $10k). This Debit Card must be used within one year, or it expires. All purchases using this Debit Card would have to be paid 50% from the card and 50% with cash or bank check. With a 50% match debit card, you could turn all or part of a $10k rebate into up to $20k of purchasing power ONLY IF you spent $10k of your mattress money or current earnings. Even if one spent the $20k (one-half from the Debit card, one-half from earnings or savings), then saved $10k from current employment earnings, they would still end up putting $10k into the economy. (They have to put money into the economy in order to get the original $10k.) You could call that the "Federal Debit Card With 50% Match". The Debit Card holding taxpayer potentially gets more product from his rebate, but that is a REWARD for putting his mattress money into the economy, even if he didn't have to. If you received a "Federal Debit Card with 50% Match", how could you not go out and spend it, WITH A MATCH, within the retricted time period?
You could take a 10k Debit Card and 10k in cash to a car dealer and buy both a car for yourself and a job for an unemployed American.
