Actually, there may well be riots. But not the people he thinks, and not for the reasons he thinks.
Real Americans are one day going to trade in their ‘words’ as a response to tyrannic rule and respond with something else.
They want this to happen because they think that it will trigger riots which will bring about socialism. The fly in the ointment is that they are in charge now, and everything that happens can be blamed on them. The protests and riots(if it comes to that) are likely to be directed at them. They are ideologues, and their ideology is founded on them being on the outside when it hits the fan. They can’t see that being in charge while they destroy the system will cause the backlash to be against them as the ones in power. Their ideology dictates that they must destroy the free market, so they will do it regardless of the circumstances.
You are right, these folks have no clue about unintended consequences. They have no critical thinking ability or skills. They believe that they do things in a vacuum and that people will never push back. Just as elections have consequences so do actions.
