A newspaper where I used to live had a sentence on the upper part of the editorial page that read, “Who’s going to pull the wagon when everyone wants to ride?”
Guess the Obamaloons aren’t aware of that question.
“spoxman”???
They’re going to pull the class card now on Santelli
Pfffft!
Watch the video! It has the chemistry of the viral hit video! The emotion...the response of the traders on the floor. Send a tea bag to Santelli. Great stuff.
Anyone who stands up for free trade will be branded with racism, classism , not being for the suffering “working Americans” etc.
Gibbs attack on Santelli was not planned opposition. It was 3rd grader whining by someone who’s not used to any criticism.
It's technically true true, but so without compassion it goes against the american norm of rooting for the underdog.
Obama wants hatred....Hatred is the fuel of the revolution. To a marxist, the action is in the REaction.
Freeze the target, isolate it, polarize it. How does that Alinsky thing go?
The problem is people relate to Santelli. People don’t care where he works. He works.
POTUS MUZZIE HUSSEIN?
Oh, good grief. We’re going to have to coin another word for strategery, beginning with “O.”
Whos going to pull the wagon when everyone wants to ride?
Oh, that’s easy. The slaves will pull it!!!
pssst, that’s us, you know, the taxpayer.
Too smart by half.
Only 6 percent of the mortgages are in default. The other 94 percent of the responsible citizens are being FORCED to pay for those LOOSERS!
Who wouldn’t like to earn, say, $15,000 per year and live in a million dollar house?
Octomom! Octobama!
Gibbs knee-jerk reaction of trying to tag Santelli as Richie Rich is quite misguided. These guys ( the traders ) have cred not because they are victims, but because they are professionals at the center of the storm. They are the crew of the ship.
Why does everything have to be all or nothing anymore. Libs pick out the few who are not losers and claim they've been insulted and abused because of this comment. He was obviously referring to the losers in that group. Many people who are defaulting on their mortgages are losers. Probably the highest percentage.
This is how they are destroying American, turning citizens against each other for petty imagined offenses. They want to isolate this "broker" now and make him the enemy, lump him in with the other greedy capitalists.
Why is the office of the President of the United States smearing a citizen who spoke out? Why is that office fueling the fires of class warfare? Those are the questions we should ask.
And we live in a culture where exhibiting envy is considered amusing, normal, valid, and legitimate; people commiserate over shared envy of those better off. Exhibit of envy should be scorned, socially frowned on, taboo, booed down, sneered at, harruuuumppped! at, shouted down, called little and petty and destructive, because IT IS.
The indulging of envy, declared resentment of someone's blind luck or blessings or success, is counter to conservative principle of self-government and self-dependence. To me, a conservative would automatically be immune to thinking envy legitimate.
So it's disturbing to me is how many good, decent, should-know-better Republican and/or conservative people MAKE EXCEPTIONS and growl about the largess, the ostentation, the moxy, by God! -- of all these high-powered executives. Where it's government money, it's justified; but where it's not -- let the market handle it. And this morning with Possum Head Lauer & Posse, Santinelli (God bless him!) said words of pure, beautiful, honest, enlightening truth:
The "market" isn't a thing you can manipulate. The "market" IS PEOPLE.
The market is what made Talk Radio what it is. The people who buy the stuff from the advertisers are what make it prosperous. THE PEOPLE is what made talk radio what it is. When people get caught up in envy, it's an ugly, sucking drain that destroys self-dependence and civility.
*sigh* Resist envy. It's the conservative thing.
Show Joe just how important Wall Street is to Main Street.
We can beat the socialists at their own game. Easy time.
We need to start right here on FR. Too many of our fellow conservatives are just left of center on trade when they really should be mad at government.
