I think Moran’s interview could be summed up as: “We have this guy we pumped up as a messiah based solely on his oration and media personality, but now that he’s up to bat he’s striking out. We, the press, should beat him up for that, but he’s our champion. How exactly does one extract one’s nose from someone’s ass and not embarrass everyone involved?”
