Sen. Ted Kennedy, wintering in an undisclosed location in Florida, may never return to the Senate, friends say, as his battle with brain cancer enters its final rounds.
“He’s someplace sunny, near the water, where he can rest and sail,” said a pal of the senior senator. “Time is of the essence. It’s very sad.”

That seat has belonged to the Kennedy family since 1952. Since Teddy was too young to replace Jack in 1960, and Bobby was needed elsewhere, they had a family retainer hold the seat warm for two years until Teddy had passed his 30th birthday (Feb. 22, 1962).
Nobody's wishing death on him - it's coming. We all go. It's his time. Let him go so he can have his Day of Judgment.

The Swimmer never did have any class. If he did, he would have already resigned his senate seat instead of waiting until they carry him out in a box. Instead, he's just the latest in a long string of poster boys for term limits.
As for his cancer, while I don't wish the disease on anyone, the best I can muster in his case is that we all gotta go sometime. Too bad Mary Jo went decades before she had the chance to grow old and outlive this man.
Would Love to hear what The POPE would have to say to The Swimmer in a private meeting somewhat similar to his meeting with Bugeyes Piglousy!:-O Do You think he would ask if his Soul ever questioned his horrific act of leaving Mary Jo to die an agonizing death to save his sorry butt?

..... You have to understand that things are done a bit differently here in MA. First you make a genuflection to the Democratic party bosses, then you negotiate the amount of “support” you will provide to various Democratic personages and programs. The election is really just a sort of quaint formality to announce you to the public.

Spot on! So glad I don’t live there! We live in a red border state that is poised to withstand this recession better than most. I wish our leaders would start thinking of building a wall around our entire state to keep the fleeing dem hordes out of here after they destroy their own states!
Ted Kennedy is a high ranking member of the Irish Republican Army. He has more British blood on his hand than the Taliban will ever have. Good riddance.
I just hope that Teddy the Swimmer makes a GOOD confession before he dies, otherwise, all the prayers in the world won’t keep that soul out of the Hot Place.
When he finally kicks, it would be nice if some media people reviewed what really happened at Chappaquiddick. But instead it will be Camelot, retold once again. The same old Kennedy schlock...
Unfortunately, he did more damage to the country than his death can erase. The only good news is that, he won't be able to do anymore.
