Pataki is thinking about running against G(J)illbrand.

2/3 of Democrats love Crist, sadly so do 71% of Republicans. http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x1297.xml?ReleaseID=1266

Jon Huntsman came out for gay civil unions and is now mud in Utah, this is the first I’ve heard of it.

I said I never cared for Huntsman, and that’s just one more reason to dislike him. Utah should have a nosebleed Conservative GOP Governor, not these RINO twats.

Huntsman is a moderate, “McCain-style” Republican. He is more liberal than his billionaire father, who favored Romney.

NY - I can see why Michael Steele and the RNC are trying to recruit Pataki, since every poll says Clintonite Peter King would lose by a landslide. Admittedly, I think Pataki would be a stronger candidate as well, though since he's just another RINO and worse than King on social issues (abortion, etc.) I can't endorse him. I'd be neutral in a Pataki-King primary... not a fan of either RINO. Would be fun to watch King go down in flames though.

IL - As for Burris, gotta love Dopey Dickie Durbin whining about RAT corruption staying in the headlines. The people of Illinois don't deserve this? Gee, Dick, maybe you should have thought of that when you endorsed these people WHILE they were under a "ethics cloud". We had a honest Senator named Peter Fitzgerald but you demanded CHANGE and now the people of Illinois are finding out exactly what kind of CHANGE they're getting. I find it really cute how even WORSE corrupted RATs like state treasurer Alexi Giannoulias (mob banker)and Jan Schakowsky (hubby in prison for being a tax cheat, but not to worry Jan had NO IDEA he was doing that) are demanding Burris resign for ethics issues, like they did with Blago. Talk about pot calling the kettle black. I'd be all for tossing Burris' corrupt butt out if A) We would be guranteed a special election, and B) A credible GOP candidate aside from Mark Kirk promised to enter the race, but that's not likely to happen. Burris' resignation will not shame the RATs into a special election. Therefore let's call Burris and encourage him to stick around for the 2010 election. Remember Illinois voters: You wanted the Chicago machine to take complete control of the state for the last six years and bring us "change" -- and you got it!

FL - I'm surprised Crist is leading Mack by such a huge lopsided margin in the polls, considering Connie Mack's dad was the last decent GOP Senator the state had. I don't understand the people of FL's love of squishy Charlie Crist, but I also don't understand why some freepers have such a fanatical hatred of the guy (if it's the Lindsey Graham "he must be a closet homosexual" whispering, how come the RINO Governor Hawaii gets a pass with all the lesbian whispering about her?). Crist would be a "hold your nose" choice for the general election. His sucking up to Obama's porkulus bill is pretty pathetic. The thing is there are a LOT of interesting, good, and credible conservative Republicans willing to run for this seat now (Bense, Buchanan, Mack, Rubio, Thorpe, etc.) so I hope Crist ultimately decides to pass on this one. Martinez is bad enough. The freepers who claimed to have "done their homework" about Martinez obviously hadn't done so (otherwise they'd realize he had been a liberal Democrat trial lawyer who donated to all kinds of $$$ socialists, then turned Bush suck-up when the state went Republican in the early 90s, and was all for amnesty when Bush proposed it in '04). Let's hope this time Florida Republicans actually pay attention to their candidates track record this time.

UT - Huntsman sounds like a RINO to me. No excuse for being liberal on gay unions when he's representing a state like Utah. Don't know enough about Leavitt to judge. As far as I know his brother was a pretty decent guy. Why is Bob Bennett (not to be confused with RAT Mike Bennett in Colorado) facing primary opposition? Orrin Hatch has been a bit wopply, but I haven't heard any complaints about Bennett. It's about time he retired, though.

I can see why democrats like Crist, I don’t get why any republicans would vote for the man.

Giuliani and McCain supporters love Hunstman. They hope he will run for President in either 2012 or 2016.

This is my thought on the Florida Senate race. Since RINO Crist is so popular, he should be the Republican nominee against Bill Nelson in 2012. We need him more for that race (against an incumbent) than this one. For this year, Congressman Connie Mack is a good choice, and he benefits from his lineage. He’s also photogenic and likeable, as well as conservative.
