frasier is my favorite sitcom of all time. he doesn’t need to every work again, but he will always get work. he can pick and choose now.

A couple of other examples: the late Ron Leavitt split with his partner, Michael Moye, at least 4-5 years before “Married With Children” finished its run. But as a co-creator, Leavitt was a profit participant, and I'm guessing his heirs are still cashing the checks (he passed away several years ago). Moye reportedly made $50 million on “Married,” so you can see how much money a producer or star can make.
But Leavitt and Simon are pikers compared to John Masius, who created “Touched by an Angel.” CBS fired him as executive producer after only a handful of episodes, and brought in Martha Williamson as a replacement. But Masius was credited as the show’s creator throughout its run, and I'm sure he made a tidy sum from syndication rights.
Only with the horrible enablers of Hollywood.
His goose is just fine.......he's comfortable, in his own skin.
It seems that since we can probably count Hollywood conservatives on one hand that you could have come up with something less snarky...
