Today, Obama returned to Denver, and with elaborate ceremony signed the $787 billion stimulus bill passed last Friday by Congress, which runs to more than 1,070 pages. That left fewer than 96 hours between passage and signing (thus also violating his promise about posting legislation for five days on the internet before signing, to allow for transparency and comment).
When did Obama even find time to skim this monster bill? Let alone go through it line by line?
Obama enjoyed an intervening weekend heavy on R&R. Carbon-emissions-notwithstanding (personally I dont care how much carbon he emits, but Obama wants all the rest of us to sacrifice on this front), on Friday Obama flew with his family and entourage to Chicago, where he helicoptered in from the airport, to spend time at his Chicago mansion and as The New York Times put it see a few friends and reconnect to the rest of the country. Over the weekend, he took Michelle out for a Valentines dinner at a South Side restaurant. He got a haircut. He spent two hours playing basketball. He watched the N.B.A. All-Star game. He also gave his weekly video address. He then flew back to Washington, and on Tuesday flew to Denver.
Unless Obama was reading the bill over his Valentines dinner, and had it taped to the basketball backboard, when did he go through it line by line?...

“.....when did he go through it line by line?...”
He didn’t need to. Nancy told him “Trust me, you’ll like it”.
Sure glad all is right in the world and Obama can kick back after 4 long, hard weeks in office. This fraud spent records amount on the inauguration. Is flying unnecessarily all over the country at a costly price. He sure is taking advantage of all the perks.
Don’t worry - the media will cover for him ...
LOL :) He didn’t really say that, did he? I have a feeling he did!
"I don't want to pretend that today marks the end of our economic troubles," Obama said before signing the legislation. "Nor does it constitute all of what we are going to have to do to turn our economy around. But today does mark the beginning of the end."
oops ‘here’ should be ‘hear’...
mark for later

Why would he need to or want to read it?
Its a Trillion Dollar Government spending bill, he is a socialist, socialists take money from those that produce and spread it around to buy votes.
He’s playing BASKETBALL??? In the MIDDLE OF CHAOS??? We are LOSING TRILLIONS and he’s PLAYING BASKETBALL??? PATHETIC.
Porkzilla is raising a lot of eyebrows in its aftermath. A LOT of people are wondering what the big rush to pass it was since the Obamoron took the weekend off. He didn’t sign it yesterday, the day he said he wanted it done by; he didn’t sign it Sunday, nor did he sign it on Saturday or Friday night, after the Senate spent untold tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars (to fly the senator whose mother passed away) to make sure it was passed Friday night.
So, what was the big rush? Was the Obamoron afraid that if the Congress actually READ the “crap sandwich” they were passing more of them might balk at it? Was he afraid that HE might have the read the most porked up bill EVER to come out of the Congress of the Unites States of America in its increasingly sorry history??
Bush demanded a rush to judgement for TARP and the Obamoron demanded another one for Porkzilla. According to a growing number of economists, when the economy is still in the tank by summer and no positive results from Porkzilla are seen by the voters, the Obamoron will have to ask for ANOTHER “stimulus” plan by summer to keep the people from rising in revolt. Good luck with that. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me; fool me three times, better hunker down, ‘cause I’m locking and loading!!
Nero played the Fiddle
Obama played Bball
Doomed we are.
