Sounds like she loses either way with you. If you want a politician who has no normal family issues you are going to have to find one from an alien civilization. Reagan sure wouldn't suit you since he had a lot more than this in his family history.

She only loses under lemma b if she was negligent in her daughter’s upbringing—I don’t know that to be the case (but I sense that a lot of her defenders fear that that might indeed be the case).

Do you, for instance, seriously believe that Palin can any longer stand as a credible advocate for abstinence-based sex education—never mind abstinence-only?

It was probably mostly her child’s juvenile irresponsibility that created the situation, but we do circle back around to questions about thing like that.
