For almost eighty years now, Washington DC has wasted the labors of the people under the false pretense of taking care of them. Over the last seventy years, America has gone from the most peaceful prosperous free nation on earth to an increasingly violent bankrupt example of world class political corruption. In the next two years, irreversible damage will be done.
The people responsible for bringing the greatest nation on earth to the brink of third world status now control the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of the federal government and they are using their unbridled power to ram pure global secular socialism down the throat of every American.
They just passed the biggest leftist spending spree in world history without a single bi-partisan supporter across the aisle. Obama's promise of bi-partisanship was just one of many campaign lies. Not a single legislator or American voter was allowed to fully read the bill before being forced to vote on it. Obama will sign it in to law today, before anyone knows what the bill says.
They bribed three leftist New England senate RINOs in order to pass their bill aimed at stimulating government growth through record debt. Even seven House Democrats had to vote against the Marxist measure. The little RINO support they got, they bought. They had NO interest in a bi-partisan bill.
The first thirty days of the new Democratic Socialist regime has confirmed one thing. The anti-American left is coming after every freedom and liberty as fast and as hard as they can and only a united right, ready to fight, can stop their rush into global disaster. Investors are fleeing the market again today, well aware of Obama's agenda to nationalize everything.

Oh, I see I’m, like, the 15th person to post info about Texas. It is exciting though.
Would it really BE a CW if, like, 38 states pass these resolutions telling the feds to go piss up a rope?
Or would it be just a matter of the feds trying to fight it in courts forever, etc.
Of course, with the magic “38”, we could call the convention or force an amendment.

We’re lumping a whole bunch of states into the same pile here. Yes, each of those has introduced state sovereignty bills, not all have passed, and at least one state did it for reasons we would find execrable.

Second, California introduced its legislation in order to get out from under the EPA’s edict that CA doesn’t have the authority to set its own greenhouse gas emission limits. This is hardly laudatory: “We hereby reserve the powers and authorities to move toward Communism faster than the rest of you.” Now that Obama is in office, the CA resolution will get nowhere.
The ones to watch will be Oklahoma, Montana, and Missouri. Alaska has a strong independent streak, so they may send ALL of us packing at some point... Which means, a week later, I’m moving to Juneau.
By the way, Montana just passed a bill giving the bird to the BATFU folks: firearms manufactured in Montana, purchased in Montana, and kept in Montana, are not subject to federal firearm laws. I LOVE it!

Freedoms first has recently received permission to hold our protest in Washington DC. Our protest will now be held at the lincoln Memorial Reflections Pool in front of the Lincoln memorial ,on a date that will be released on feb 12 2009.
We find this very interesting because just two weeks earlier Washington told us we could no protest in DC for at least a year and a half . But the day the spendulus bill passes we get a call from Washington inviting us with a choice of dates and locations. Folks we take this as a sign that our country if starting to realise the mistake they have made with putting Obama in office.
We will have live speakers and other entertainment for you.
WE would like to see 1 million supporters attend this protest. It is time to take our country back and make our voices heard.
Why are we protesting ?
1. To get the attention of the mainstream media.
2. To demand That Obama Provide proof that he is eligible to be president.
3. To demand that Congress and the Supreme court uphold our constitution.

A great article. I’ve corresponded with the state rep in Oklahoma who’s pushing the State sovereignty bill and contacted my rep and senator. I’ve emailed everyone I know.
