Also think about this. Amish are the way they are because they don’t want to live in a modern world with modern conveniences. But then, when they decided that, kerosene and whatever inventions of the time (mid-1800) were the modern equivalent of what we have today and they use that as their base ... so in a way, isn’t that hypocritical???

It’s coming, so prepare. Within twenty years.

They'll have to come find me in the Philippines, get past my booby traps, kill my guard dogs, and be able to dodge my crossbow arrows first.

After that, It won't matter to me because I'll be dead.

Let me try again. Perhaps we really do not have sufficiently shared vocabulary.

I find it

INCREDIBLY HORRIFIC

as in . . . HORIFFIC TO THE MAX

as in . . . maximally horrific

as in . . . virtually beyond conventionally conceivable

as in . . . horrifically beyond reasonably normal reality

. . .

that in this “Christian” nation the Oligarchy was able to get us to this dreadful state in such a short time where

—so many even so-called “Christians” would vote in an illegible demonized imposter stooge of the Oligarchy hell-bent to rush in the overt global government and exterminate authentic Christians . . .

—so many Americans would be sooooooo brain dead about the MSM and other crucial realities and values . . .

—so many complicit Congress critters are so bought, threatened, gahgah brain-dead worshipful of the Oligarchy’s stooges and goals . . .

—so many even Conservative Freeper Christians are STILL sooooo out to lunch about the basic realities of this incredibly horrific state of affairs . . .

—so many even Conservative Freeper Christians are still ignorant of the statements of our leaders from 1900 on, ref’d in my tagline:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/religion/2130557/posts?page=81#81

—so many even Conservative Freeper Christians still consider such FACTS to be “conspiracy theory” when there’s no theory to it. It’s been proven repeatedly in piles of documents and videos of the guilty in their own words and publications. Kissenger’s recent assertions about OThuga being the one to carry us into the NWO being merely the latest brazenness. Carter’s Brezenski and the Rockefellers have been candid enough about such for decades.

—so many poorly informed and out-right uninformed even FREEPERS still think that the Bible is lying and that we’ll be able to telephone, fax, march our way into some victorious awakening rescuing us from these horrific scheduled destructions & enslavements by the Oligarchy.

—That tooooooo many conservatives and “Christians” are tuning up the band for the final concert before the water reaches the saxaphones.

I believe God intends for our Republic to endure.

I believe He will also insure that we are severely disciplined for the failure of the even Authentic Christians to prevent such by prayers and righteous living and informed voting . . . by allowing infanticide, homosexual ‘marriage’ and ‘rights,’ . . . horrific corruption at high levels . . . abuses of power of huge proportions . . . and that’s just the past . . . not to mention what’s far worse and in the script and schedule.

. . .

I have come to the point where it is untenable for me to prersonally accept the unscientific conclusion that there exists an all-powerful being that set in motion all there is or will be toward the acceptance that we are in this together only as circumstances brought us to this place in time.

I think this belief comes from someone who grows in their philosophy without growing in their theology. When children grow up in the church, they are given an incomplete theology that is meant to be deepened as they get older. The problem is, that in many churches, this is never deepened. People come away as adults only remembering elementary Sunday school lessons about theology that glossed over the harsher realities about God's nature and the state of the spiritual realm deemed too complex or not fit for the under-10 crowd.

There’s going to be a lot of bloodletting before this conflict between militaristic hedonism and cautious responsibility ends.

It seems like Islam is going to be the one that takes over after the materialistic hedonists are done wrecking society. After all the effort spent on crushing Christianity, they will realize that Islam was the real threat all along. It is a good point that there is a strong irrational anti-Christian (and Jewish) vein in the so-called rationalist school of belief. And that vein is made even more stark by the welcoming acceptance other more hostile religions are given. Such an action does lead one to believe that there is something exclusively true about the Jewish and Christian religions.

That day means the day when Jesus’s return is imminent, the start of End Times.

Jesus told us that we would see the signs He gave us, similar to when the seasons change. He said we would be able to see the start of end times (which I think we are in). I also believe that Christians will be caught up to meet Jesus in the air.

The Tribulation will be horrible for those left on earth, like these deluded people.

I don’t know if they follow this line of thinking or not . . . I’ve read that some folks think electricity is a satanic substitute for Holy Spirit.

Kerosene is probably seen as a fairly natural element for use like wax in candles.

I really don’t know, however.

I see the problem, here.

Incredible: (adj) 1. so extraordinary as to seem impossible: incredible speed.

I certainly think we are in the birth pangs of the GREAT TRIBULATION ERA.

RIGHT.

Glad you tuned-in to the meaning I was/am using.

Same here ...

On electricity - so some people think it's satanic? Do they live in shacks or something? Communes?

I never thought I would understand or appreciate the book of Job. I now hold it very dear. Amazing what age will do to you. Job is much too neglected these days. It has hugely important lessons.

Wonderfully constructed (with hand tools) homes.

They will likely be better able to live through some coming changes.

There’s reports . . . admittedly somewhat fringe . . . stuff . . . that the government knows there will be long periods where there’s no electricity—perhaps years . . . and have begun training specially selected genetically predispositioned military personnel to receive communciations “telepathically” from “ET’s.”

Certainly folks should have some lithium batteries and some special radio’s, hand crank variety etc. wrapped in a few layers of aluminum foil to survive the EMP stuff likely . . . first layer should be cloth or paper towels thick enough to avoid sparks to the antenna from the foil, imho.

Some electronic tecs can correct me where wrong.

I have emergency stuff on hand to grab and run but not to survive for several years ... but then, maybe I should look into that .... :)

Agreed, I assumed materialistic when using the term, what we see now is an open militarism in their approach, attacks rather than clandestine forays...

That is pretty explicit in the Bible.
